Grand National 2010 Betting Odds Likely To Change After Becher Chase At Aintree On Sunday
Friday 20 November 2009 at 12:11
The first major trail for the 2010 Grand National takes place on Sunday, over the Grand National fences in the 2009 Becher Chase at Aintree. The winner is likely to be well backed in the Grand National 2010 Betting Odds and could even go off as the favourite in April.
Vic Venturi Favourite For Last Year’s Winning Trainer
There will be only eight runners on Sunday and that is the smallest field the race has had this decade. The current favourite for the Becher Chase is Vic Venturi, who represents last year’s winning trainer Dessie Hughes, is the 10/3 favourite with Coral to win off top weight on Sunday. Next best is Palypso de Creek at 5/1 with Paddy Power and SkyBet whilst perhaps the most interesting runner is Irish Raptor who is 6/1 with Paddy Power, SkyBet and VC Bet. Irish Raptor will love conditions, having won over the Grand National fences already and he goes well in soft ground.
Big Odds Available For All Runners In Next Year’s Showpiece Race
The current favourite for the 2010 Grand National is Tricky Trickster who is 20/1 with Bet365 and Paddy Power. Last year’s second and the 2008 winner Comply Or Die has to be interesting again at 25/1 with Blue Square and Stan James whilst arguably the best bet from last year’s runners is Cerium who ran on for fifth despite running a circuit with a fractured skull! He will surely improve and is available at 66/1 with Stan James. For more Grand National 2010 Betting Odds or Becher Chase Betting Odds click on any of the bookie links above.
