I think the partnership with Alonso last year was detrimental to his overall performance and I think this year he will go one better and nick the Championship.

I think most people are aware of what happened at the end of the 2007 F1 season. Hamilton was 12pts clear with just 2 races remaining. In the penultimate race McLaren didnt want to bring him in, despite visibly badly worn tyres, and Hamilton slid off and got 0pts.
