| To Win Outright |
| RORY MCILROY + EW |
by martinallen72
Rory McIlroy is a rapidly improving player and may well have what it takes to win or place in the British Open. At the time of writing he is impressing enormously in the US Master, sitting in T4. That would be good enough form to win this event! He currently lies third in the European Order of Merit and has already won a tour event this season (Dubai Open). Created a favourable impression in the ...

I have been really impressed with this young player this week and has held it together when it all looked like falling apart. He has made 6 cuts from 8 tournaments and likely to finish in the top 20 at the US Masters. He has also had 3 top 10 finishes already this season. He didnt really cut the mustard over here last season, bombing out at the British Open. However, he improved enormously at the ...

| HUNTER MAHAN + EW |
by martinallen72
Hunter Mahan is a huge price here. He is playing well and currently sits high up the leaderboard in the AT&T at Bethesda (end of round 3). | ANDRES ROMERO + EW |
by martinallen72
Andres Romero has a good links game and is another who is a massive price here. Like many, he struggled at Carnoustie last year but had previously finished 3rd and 8th in the British Open. He hasnt had the best of runs recently, missing a few cuts, but he was up with the leaders for a couple of rounds in the US Open before slipping to T47. A return to British soil make spark a revival in his game ...

Probably a wise move to play at Loch Lomond than in John Deere and at -3 after 6 in final round shows he is in good heart / form once again and still can be backed at 100s with Blue Square / Stan James and if he continues this round he could be shorter for The Open Championship as is 80s with many other bookies (139 with Betfair).
