| LEICESTER + |

I was impressed with Leicester last season and I think they have an outside chance of getting promoted through the play offs
It looks as though they have managed to keep the majority of their squad from last season and I am sure they will be adding to it in the next few weeks
They played some great football last season and a repeat of that in the Championship and they could find themselves b ...

Could Coventry follow the other ex-Premiership sides to have recently fallen into the 3rd tier of English football? They seem to be prime candidates to do so this season.
This the inception of the Premiership many sides who have played in the top flight and the descent into the 3rd tier all to easy. The likes of Man City, Nottm Forest, Leeds, Leicester, Charlton, Norwich and Southampton have al ...

The Blades finished the season rated higher than any other team in the Championship in my own ratings.
They have managed to keep hold of manager Kevin Blackwell, after last seasons playoff woes, and look perfectly poised to make another dent bid to be promoted.
They have strengthened their squad with the signing of a decent left back in Andy Taylor from Tranmere; Ched Evans has arrived for ...

Time for my ante-post predictions and straight away i am fancying my home town club to shoot right back into the premiership.
We have had a steady pre season in terms of players going in and out and by bringing in Yeates and Lita so far, we have a great chance of scoring goals and getting some creativity.
I honestly think this is a great bet if our squad remains mostly settled

I think that it will be WBA who pose the best challenge to winning this league. They have lost Mowbray who was very good at this level but i feel that having kept the squad relatively intact and with the same style of football to look forward to, West Brom have the best chance of all 3 relegated clubs to bounce back at the first attempt

I think that Barnsley will struggle this year and fail to stay up in the championship for another year. Their failure to invest wisely or at all for that matter leaves them trailing behind other clubs in the league and i think that only Scunny will have a worse season

I think Chopra has the best chance to come out on top for the leading scorer award. He has proven himself at this level with Cardiff before and with me expecting cardiff to push for promotion, i see chopra leading the team and the league in goals scored

The season is a few games in now and while this is obviously a wide open league this year my original thoughts regarding Sheffield United have been confirmed and that is that they are very strong looking team this year and at the current odds look a superb bet for promotion in my opinion. They were beaten in the playoff final last year by Burnley and the majority of that young team remains this se ...
