having won the series the sprinboks will either relax and play terrific rugby or will coast and get squashed by a lions side who will desperately want to regain some pride by avoiding the 3-0 whitewash - ithink they may just do it and the handicap looks reasonably generous

Both sides have to make a number of changes for the final test. Lions changes as pretty much enforced whilst SA are looking at several players ahead of the tri nations. SA have a terrific record at Ellis Park and should be looking for the whitewash after all the media attention that has been going on of late.

The first test went close to this total with 47pts scored while the second test surpassed it with 53pts - given the fact that that both games were very heated, that this is the final test and that the referee has come out and said he is going to be very strict I can see a lot of penalties, and therefore a lot of points, in this one.

The Lions had chances to win both tests already but just failed by 5pts and 3pts respectively - this is their final chance to get something positive from the tour and I expect them to do just that with a win here. At 11/4 they are good value for it given their was little between them in the first two tests and the changes made for this one will help the Lions chances in my opinion.

The Lions have lost both tests to date but both were by less than this margin and with pride on the line here in the final test I expect them to go very close to winning today. With that in mind the 7.5 handicap looks a little generous and is good value at even money here.
