Rovers To Cover Handicap
(13/11 19:45) Tranmere v Accrington Stanley : Tranmere -1.0 Win @ 1.85 FA Cup |
As i predict the score to be either 2-0 or 4-2 this evening, it really does make the -1 goal AH look appealing for Tranmere here, it is hard for me to turn down, and with that in mind, I am definately making this my NAP selection for the night, and worth a full stakes bet in my opinion. |

I Predict A Rout!
(13/11 19:45) Tranmere v Accrington Stanley : Tranmere #4-2 Win @ 41.00 FA Cup |
After a pretty drab 0-0 affair in the first game, the replay tonight at Prenton Park doesnt exactly look too appealing, but I would definately not be surprised if this game had plenty of goals in it given Tranmeres record in cup competitions. In fact, 6 of their last 7 home encounters in the FA Cup at Prenton Park have seen at least 3 goals, so theres always the opportunity for a few goals tonight.
Tranmere will be without Ian Goodison, who is usually a rock in defense, but will still have a pretty dangerous attacking force, as was seen in the first leg when were it not for the Accrington keepers heroics, they could have had 3 or 4 goals, tonight I would expect them to take the same opportunities if they came their way, but at the expense of a couple of goals, making the 40/1 on offer look like a very attractive price given the fact that it is the FA Cup, and anything can happen |

Hard To Oppsose Juan
(13/11 12:00) Nikolay Davydenko vs Juan Martin Del Potro : Juan Martin Del Potro Win @ 2.25 Tennis |
After a good win against Djokovic two days ago, Juan Martin Del Potro will know that a victory against Davydenko will be good enough to see him reach the semi-finals of the Masters Cup, and after facing two matches so far which have gone to three sets Davydenko will no doubt be feeling slightly more fatigued going into this one.
The victory over Tsonga is just the confidence boost which Del Potro would have needed going into this encounter, and hopefully he can give a good account of himself today and book his spot in the last 4. |

Novak To Hold No Prisoners
(11/11 12:20) Novak Djokovic vs Nikolay Davydenko : Novak Djokovic to win 2 - 0 Win @ 2.00 Tennis |
Like the reference in the Del Potro - Tsonga match comment, Davydenko is probably feeling the effects of his grueling affair yesterday, which provides the perfect opportunity for Djokovic to thrash the Russian here and get himself into the semi-finals.
The Serbian looked in fine form against Del Potro on Sunday after a tough couple of months on the indoor circuit, but this week he looks like he has returned to the form which saw him lift the Australian Open title, and can once again carry that form forward to this match which he should be strong enough to win in straight sets in all honesty. |

Del Potro To Claim First Win At Masters Series
(11/11 10:00) Jo Wilfried Tsonga vs Juan Martin Del Potro : Juan Martin Del Potro Win @ 2.25 Tennis |
After being defeated by Djokovic in straight sets yesterday, JMDP will be hoping to bounce back to form this morning against Jo-Wilfred Tsonga who had to play in 2 tie breaks during his 3 set encounter against Davydenko which will probably have effected his stamina comming into a tough encounter with Del Potro.
Del Potro did show some flashes of quality against Djokovic, and if he can refind that form for most of this match today then he should have no problem in getting past Tsonga here in Shanghai, so my money has to be on the underdog to prevail and go 2-0 up in their head 2 head record |

Danny To Go
(08/11 19:30) X Factor: 5th Elimination : Danny Evans Win @ 1.80 Specials |
Despite the news of her antics this week, Rachel should still be pretty safe with a strong song choice this weekend. Daniel and Ruth should really be the bottom 2 in my eyes as everyone else has songs which they should be able to cope well with, and with this in mind, it should be the Spanish girl who is saved ahead of poor Daniel who should be Danis first casualty of the competition |

Vera To Reach Final
(08/11 14:30) Vera Zvonareva vs Elena Dementieva : Vera Zvonareva Win @ 1.88 Tennis |
From what I have seen so far, theres no reason as to why Zvonereva cannot beat Dementieva and reach the final here in Doha.
Her forehand has been sublime, and she has really looked at home on the court. Demi has only looked good when the conditions suit her, but in my opinion Vera has looked stronger, and even if the conditions suit Elena, she should be outplayed on the court today. |

Demi To Win Comfortably
(06/11 18:15) Dinara Safina vs Elena Dementieva : Elena Dementieva to win 2 - 0 Win @ 2.37 Tennis |
Nothing short of the best will do for Elena today, and with Dinara rocked by 2 straight set defeats to the Williams Sisters, I think that Elena can take advantage of her opponents fatigue throughout the season and win in straight sets here.
With Dinara out of the competition, theres nothing really for her to play for, so I fully expect Dementieva who still has an outside shot of qualifying to go all out for the victory here, and wouldnt be surprised if Dinara won very few games in this encounter. |

Serena To Edge 3 Setter
(06/11 15:30) Venus Williams vs Serena Williams : Serena Williams to win 2 - 1 Win @ 3.50 Tennis |
Now Im not saying that its a certainty, but a win in 3 sets for Serena Williams today over her sister would be the best outcome for both parties involved here if they want to reach the semi-finals.
Venus will qualify having won 5 sets if Safina beats Dementieva, and if she wins in straight sets, then Serena will go through regardless of her result against Dementieva on the basis of having a better % of sets won record if she loses.
If Elena wins in straight sets against Safina, then Serena would need to take at least a set off her to stop her qualifying for the semi-finals, but if Serena wins their show down, both her and Venus progress, however, if she then beats Serena in 3 sets, her, Serena and Venus will have to compare their percentage of games won in order to determine the two who progress.
If Elena wins in 3 sets, then once again Serena will need to take a set off her, only if she does, then her and Venus will both qualify regardless of the final result.
So there you have it, if Serena beats Venus in 3 sets, then both of them can still go through even if Elena beats Serena, whereas if Elena were to beat Serena with any other result should she also win today, then one or the other will be knocked out, so the 5/2 on offer looks tempting in that respect |

Serena To Get Mental Lead Over Sister
(05/11 17:00) Dinara Safina vs Serena Williams : Serena Williams to win 2 - 0 Win @ 2.00 Tennis |
After Safina surrendered a great chance of winning the first set against Venus yesterday, Serena Williams will be hoping that she can build on the let down which Dinara Safina suffered in losing in straight sets to Venus Williams yesterday, and at the same time show that she has the upper hand over her sister.
By dropping a set today against Safina, Serena would be behind her sister in the round robin rankings, and in the world of the siblings, one is always trying to outdo the other, and I think that today will be no different as Serena will be hoping to make lighter work of Dinara than Venus did yesterday.
Just to show how good Serena is at Womens Tennis, she is currently 3rd in the rankings, despite entering only 13 events, and she is only 36pts behind world number 2 Safina, who has entered 7 more events than Serena. In all fairness, if Serena entered the same number of events as the majority of the players on tour she would no doubt be the world number 1 or at least within 100pts of Jelena Jankovic, and with this in mind, as well as her impressive record of winning 82% of matches over her career (86% this year), Serena should be too strong for Safina and her 76% YTD strike rate (68% career) |
