Have to fancy Stosur here, shes playing the better tennis and looks a lot more consistant than her opponent. Jankovic has not been at her best for about 2 years now, but this week shes been solid at times and looked good, but she may well have gone out in the last round if Kleybonova didnt blow 4 straight games. Stosur has been very good and strong this week, yet to drop a set, and looks confident. Stosurs beating of Zvonareva puts her form at an even higher lever, so Im happy to side with the young Aussie here.

Looks a very attractive price for Sam Stosur to win this match going the distance.

Stosur has won every match so far in straight sets but this one could go the distance. Shes been taken to 2 tiebreakers so far, one in the early round against Coin, and one in the last round against Sanchez. She also had a 7-5 set against Zvonareva,

Jankovic has not convinced me this week, needing 2 tiebreakers as well, she needed 3 sets to get past Errani, and only Kleybonovas capitulation in the 2nd set yesterday cost us a likely 3 set match.

I think Jankovic will start strongly and the first 2 sets will be shared, but Stosur has been the better player and it will show in the 3rd set, with Sam Stosur winning 2-1...

For my money, Stosur has the best form this week. Shes looked very good, her play is consistant and she looks confident as well. I would expect her to beat Sanchez, and then it would be the winner of Jankovic/Kleybonova for a place in the final. Kleybonova seems to have been flattered by the win over Clijsters, and Jankovic is liable to implode at any given moment, so Stosur would have real chances agaisnt either. If Wozniacki makes the final as expected, Stosur again has chance, as Wozniacki is not on top of her game either, and Stosur actually won their only previous hard court meeting the last time they met, back in 2009.

Im not having Nadal as favourite here, hes not the player he was and still does not look fully right at times. He needed 3 sets to get past Isner, whos form has been average at best, and Nadal doesnt look like he would get past the main 2 from the other half of the draw, in Murray and Roddick.

Those 2 are set to meet in the semis, and I give Murray the edge. I think hes played better so far this tournament. Murray has also won 4 of the last 5 on hard/indoor hard between the 2.

Murray also has a great record against Nadal and Id expect him to beat Nadal - or whoever else makes the final.

(18/03 20:00) Liverpool v Lille : Fernando Torres Win @ 3.75

Fernando Torres did something that Liverpool as whole, did not, on Monday when they played Portsmouth - and thats look at their best.

Torres was by far Liverpools best player, tearing Pompey to shreds at will, and if the rest of the team played at his level that night he couldve scored 5 or 6 on his own.

He ended the game with 2 goals, 2 assists, and he opened the scoring. If he repeats that tonight he will be a very live contender for first goal, so Ill stick with El Nino tonight.

Seems unlikely but theres a chance here. I fully expect Inter to score against an unconvincing Chelsea backline, and likewise I would expect Chelsea to score a few against Inter Milan here. Inter lost 3-1 at the weekend and Chelsea lost here recently 4-2 to Manchester City,s o both sides are not sound defensively.

Inter have gone 3 up front tonight so will not be holding back, and this will benefit them and I can see this game eventually being very wide open and end to end with some kind of crazy scoreline, and 4-2 is not beyond the realms of possibility.....

With Inter going 3 up front and Chelsea having 3rd choice keeper Ross Turnbull in goal, I think Inter will score tonight. In that case Chelsea would need 2 to just go to extra time. Inters defence does not convince, especially after their 31 league loss at the weekend, and I would expect Chelsea to score 1 or 2 tonight, but Chelsea dont convince me defensively either, so Inter scoring would be no surprise. 3 goals minimum looks more likely than less than 3 goals to me.

I would expect the Bucks to win this outright, considering the opposing forms of the 2 sides (Last 10 - Bucks 9-1, Pacers 2-8) but Im not sure that theyll cover 9.5 here.

Pacers have been outclassed by the top teams (Lakers, Celtics) lately but most defeats theyve had are by under 10pts.

Bucks have won their last 3 at home which includes wins over the Cavs and Celtics, which looks like were set for a romp, but I dont see it.

The reverse fixture a month ago saw the Bucks beat the Pacers by just 2, and while they will surely win tonight, I think a win in the 4-7pt range is more likely, so Ill stick my neck out and side with the underdog.

76ers have lost 11 of their last 13 against the spread at home and it looks a trend likely to continue tonight. Theyve lost 7 of their last 8 straight up, and their last 5 defeats have seen their opponents cover.

What worries me about the 76ers though is the margins theyve been getting beaten by. 15 by the Bobcats, 11 by the Pacers, 10 by the Celtics, 19 by the Hawks, 21 by the Magic, 9 by the Lakers, 11 by the Suns, notice anything here? 10 straight defeats by at least 10 points.

Cavs come here fully rested, with a returning Lebron James who is hungry after missing the last 2 games.

Cavs look strong here and should cover.

Its very difficult to see past the Cavs winning this one. Lebron James is back from injury and the entire side is rested up, having not played since Monday.

Cavs have won 7 of their last 8, while the 76ers have lost 7 of their last 8... Also in the 7 from 8 bracket is the Cavs winning 7 of the last 8 meetings between the sides. Theyve also won the last 6 in Philly.

76ers have nothing to play for and have been getting hammered of late, Cavs will look at this as a comfortable win, espeically with Lebron James back.
