Cheveley Park Stud and Micheal Stoute dont usually have horses with poor breeding and this colt is no exception. Im sure the speed pedigree with ensure a lively start to this horses career and with a lot of others in the race unknowns it will be interesting to see the market for this one.

I dont quite get the price of this considering Malmo are 1.45 to win their home game which seems much closer than this. AIK are currently 3rd in the table, and Orebro with just 1 on the road this season are currently in 14th place. The other positive for AIK tonight is that they have not lost a game at home so far this season and only conceded 1 goal. I know the price is not that much difference than the Malmo game but this does seem the value football bet of the tonight and again when they play GAIS on the 6th. AIK all the way!

Was entered to run a week ago after notching up a couple of nice wins back in the Spring. Im assuming the mare didnt run last week because of the ground and not the extra couple of furlongs which the race would have had in store for her. Ran on very well in her last start and looked like the extra couple of furlongs will be ok today. James White again takes the ride.

Darren Clarke will need to finish in the Top 6 in the European Open this week so that he qualifies for the British Open. A top 6 place in a feild where most have already qualifies surely will be a great incentive for this strong minded man. He has a good strong resolve and from reading his forum he wants very much to play at the Open. 55-1 is tempting because you know you will get a run for your money.

Rosenborg one of my all time favourite teams after i had seen them play Chelsea in the Champions League a couple of seasons ago. Very strong at home although languishing in 8th place in the league. The best years maybe around 2005/2006 but this year a new coach Erik Hamrén has taken over and been in the job for just over 1 month so some people still have him on probation. Aalesund i dont know much about but i beleive they were promoted last year to the top Norwegian division.

If there was no doubts about Nadal i would have backed him, however a few things that are playing on my mind today:

1. Nadal has a niggling Knee injury and some players already have decided to quit early rather than do more damage, in hindsight this is generaly a good decision for a top sports person.

2. Andrew Murray again will have crowd 100% behind him and this MAY effect Nadal as it clearly did against Gasquet.

3. If Murray can keep the ball in play Nadal is prone to the odd mistake and unforced errors especially if hes behind.

The three niggles i have do not take away the fact that we all know Nadal is a fantastic player and SHOULD win this easily but today i am putting my negatives in front of my positive thoughts for Nadal.
