Lunminous Eyes
2 Year Olds Too Follow |
Luminous Eyes is a more obvious choice but reports from the stable have been very encouraging and this is a horse that should be followed for the rest off the season and into the classics next year..
Hes been very solid so far in his 3 races and has won 2 including a maiden at Roscommon by 5 lengths over Drumbeat and a Group 3 at Leopardstown beating a very nice field quiet easily eased down in the finish over 7.. Should have no problem staying the mile and is a big prospect for Dermot Weld and Pat Smullen too look out for.. |

1:40 Leopardstown
(07/09 13:40) 1:40 Leopardstown : Carefree Smile Win nap @ SP Horse Racing |
This looks a cracking bet even though its a Leopardstown maiden on Champion Stakes day.. Sure too be a competitive affair but Dermot Weld looks too hold the ace with Carefree Smile who was a very good second first time out when just loosing out to Oui Say Oui in a competitive Curragh maiden last month over 6 furlongs.. The trip is 7 furlongs today which is likely too help been a daughter off Invincible Spirit.. She will handle the soft conditions better than most as she did her running last time on yielding ground.. The form off the Curragh maiden is really working out and a repeat off that performance would see her go very close and is likely too improve a great deal for that outing.. Dermot has won this maiden the last two years last year with the impressive filly Chinese White who was held in some regard by the yard.. |

Should Be Following Up On Recent Win!
(06/09 14:20) 2:20 Kempton : Elnawin Win nap @ 2.63 Horse Racing |
Richard Hannon has a very good chance off winning another valuable 2 year old prize today with Elnawin in the opener at Kempton.. Major step up in grade today after his sales race last time but the manor off the win was impressive and Pat Dobbs seemed to have it all in control a furlong out.. In my opinion beat some potential group horses that day and beat them quiet easy.. Bonnie Charlie his stablemate was back in second comfortably held and if the colt can give a repeat off that performance today under Pat Dobbs again he should be winning from a very positive draw in 10.. Especially over the sharp 6 furlongs here.. Off the others too note Weatherstaff is unexposed after his maiden win but will have too be above average too be winning here.. Flashmans Papers has won at Group Level but has struggled too keep up that level off performance in his races since Royal Ascot.. Has a bit too find with the selection if you take the line through Bonnie Charlie.. |

Should Run Well Back Over Obstacles!
(05/09 16:35) 4:35 Kilbeggan : Ridge Boy Win @ 2.50 Horse Racing |
Ridge Boy could prove the answer in this maiden hurdle today at Kilbeggan despite disappointing in the Irish Cambridgeshire last Sunday at the Curragh.. Trained by Jessie Harrington this gelding has some very solid form in the book and enough too make him the one too beat tonight.. The pick off his hurdling form has too be the fine second too the top novice hurdler Jered back in October when only beaten 3 lengths on yielding ground conditions.. 2 miles the trip today and heavy ground shouldnt cause too many problems.. |

Shaped Well Last Time Out!
(05/09 17:30) 5:30 Catterick : Select Committee Win @ 4.50 Horse Racing |
Select Committee should prove very hard too beat here in the last race at Catterick.. For me hes a soft ground specialist and has run all his best races on grounder slower than good.. Was unlucky last time when finding just one too good but ran a nice race and although today looks slightly harder the gelding should enjoy conditions more than most.. Running off a nice mark and the apprentice on top Jamie Kyne takes off 5 which should be a big help in this 5 furlong dash.. |

Likely Too Get Off The Mark Today!
(05/09 18:50) 6:50 Kempton : Crowded House EW @ SP Horse Racing |
Brian Meehans yard has hit a good peak and they are piling in the winners lately.. His two year old crop are shaping well and this looks too be a nice type who holds all the entries for later on in the season and should be up too winning this if he is too take up any off those.. He is a son off Rainbow Quest so should appreciate the step up in trip.. Shaped well enough on only outing so far at Newmarket when finishing 10th off 18 but excuses that day and the run was probably better than the finishing position suggests.. He was slowly away that day and finished well passing beaten horses but it looked a hot maiden and plenty off winners should be emerging and was the stables lesser fancied choice that day as they won the race with the more experienced Delegator who looks sure too go on too better things.. The selection is likely too come on a great deal for the run and if handling the conditions but American pedigree suggests the track should be fine.. Could run very well under Jamie Spencer from stall 11.. |

Impressive 11 Length Winner Last Time!
(05/09 17:00) 5:00 Catterick : Benhego Win nap @ SP Horse Racing |
Benhego looked very good last time out when scooting up by 11 lengths in an ordinary handicap at Great Leighs last month but the win looked visually impressive.. Better class race today but looks too be very well handicapped at present and looks too be progressing nicely for trainer Stuart Williams.. 2 miles the trip again today should be ideal as he looks best over this trip having proven stamina.. Saleem Golan takes the ride again and the gelding could be following up.. |

Should Be A Different Class Too These!
(04/09 14:10) 2:10 Salisbury : Bouvardia Win nap @ SP Horse Racing |
Henry Cecil has a very good chance off another winner today in the shape off this Bouvardia.. This filly looks in a different league today as she tries too break her maiden tag in the second time off asking.. She is very well bred being a daughter off Oasis Dream and out off a Zafonic mare.. The 7 furlongs trip looks ideal on pedigree.. She ran a very nice race on debut in a hot Newmarket maiden where she was strongly fancied too break her maiden first time off asking and was sent off the 7/2 market leader.. The winner that Snoqualmie Girl looks very decent and had the benefit off 3 previous runs.. That filly has come out since and franked the form winning at listed level and beating some nice sorts in the process.. Encouraging too see both fillies that day pulling well clear off the remainder.. She should be winning this today on the way too better thing as she has a group 1 entry in the Chevley Park as a possible target.. Ted Durcan takes the ride.. |

Dual Group 1 Winner In Listed Company???
(31/08 15:15) 3:15 Curragh : Finsceal Beo Win @ 1.80 Horse Racing |
Finsceal Beo looks the bet off the day today having had so much success in her career she deserves too get her head in front this season.. She is a dual Guineas winner in England and Ireland and was just narrowly touched off in the French equivalent by top Group 1 winning filly Darjina.. She has ran some poor races this season particulaly in the Pretty Polly and at Newmarket last time out but her performance against Haradusun in the Princess Anne Stakes at Royal Ascot when finishing only 3/4 off a length behind and also her run against 5 time Group 1 winner The Duke Of Marmalade in the Gold Cup at the Curragh was very good and if reproducing any off those runs or even running 80% fit she should be winning today as Jim Bolger has really found a good winning opportunity for the Filly too perhaps regain some confidence.. |

Winning Start Too The Card!
(31/08 14:10) 2:10 Folkestone : Frank Street Win @ 2.75 Horse Racing |
Frank Street was very unlucky last time out and has the best form in the book too be winning this maiden at Folkstone today.. Made a very promising debut at Windsor over 5 furlongs when 3rd off 6 and although the form is not working out atal the gelding came on for that run and ran a very good second at Salisbury over 6 furlongs earlier this month when loosing out by a neck too Outofoil.. That form looks very solid although the step back to 5 furlongs doesnt look a positive move on pedigree but should be beating this field regardless.. |
