This one looks to have a good chance at a very good price.Has been running well so far, winning one, placed twice and 4th twice. All decent efforts and improvment is expected. Will be tough to beat if taking to turf in what looks a moderate race.

Its Definite To Sneak A Place

(02/07 16:40) 4:40 Worcester : Its Definite EW @ 29.00

I think he can sneak a place here.He was running some respectable races before going to a new yard and going on a break.Drops back in trip and back with his old yard so if showing his best form could get a place at least here.

Gingham To Beat Em

(01/07 16:00) 4:00 Brighton : Gingham Win nb @ 2.50

Horse Racing

Has shown some decent form so far including when 4th, 8 legnths behind Arthurs Girl. That was a tougher race which is workig out well with the 2nd horse winning since.Lto was a very good 3rd, 1 legnth behind Houri. That winner went on the finish 2nd behind Double winner Amicable Terms. This drop back in trip will suit as he was only just caught close hom eover 1m 2 in that last race. This will also be his easiest race yet.

Didnt build on the promise she showed on debut when 3rd, 3 legnths behind Beat Seven but drops in grade today and a reapeat of her efforts since when finishing midfield then she will be tough to beat here.R Moore takes the ride which injects more confidence so this is my nap of the day.

Spain Champions Its About Time

(29/06 19:45) Germany v Spain : Spain Win @ 2.30

Euro 2008 Matches

An exciting end to what has been an exciting tournament. Germany as always found a way through and Spain have been the best team in the comp. This will be Germany’s 6th final appearance in this tournament and they will be looking to win it for the 4th time. Spain have reached the final twice, winning it once. Spain have been the best team in this comp so far but once again Germany have shown that you can never write them off. Germany looked average when beating Poland and Austria but put on their best performance when beating Portugal. They were very poor against Turkey and they just havnt looked their usual powerful selves. They have had a big advantage over teams in the air. The average height of the squad is 6ft. Their defence has been a big let down for them so far and Lehmann has been far from solid in goal. They still managed to score 3 past Turkey though but i think that was more down to Turkey’s defending. Spain deserve to be here more than Germany imo. They have been superb all over the pitch. Solid at the back, only conceding 3 goals so far. Two of them goals were conceded without Puyol though. Upfront they have been exciting to watch, scoring 11 goals. I thought Russia would be tougher for them to beat but they were too strong and just calved them open. The early team news is through now and the big Ballack is playing. He is the heart of the team and is a big boost to them. They will still need to improve on the performance lto if they are to beat Spain. Spain are without Villa so Fabregas is brought in. He has played well when coming on as a sub so far expecially against Russia. With Ballack playing this makes the result tougher to predict imo. I think Germany will up their game after that poor performance against Turkey but they will need to be at their best to stop the quick Spanish attacks. I think it will be a close game but with the pace Spain have upfront and Germany’s far from solid defending so far im just going to side with Spain. This will be Spain’s coach Luis Aragones last game so what better ending is there. Germany will make it difficult but i think Spain will just have that bit more quality to beat them tonight.

Result: Spain Win @ 13/10 with William Hill

Russia Vs Spain - Overs 2.5 Goals

(26/06 19:45) Russia v Spain : Over 2.5 Win @ 2.20

Euro 2008 Matches

If i was to pick a winner here i would go with Spain who have a little more experiance in the team.Russia though have improved so much since their 4-1 loss to Spain in the first group game.Arshavin has been the main player who has lifted the whole team and is nearly always involved in their attacks.Their front man Pavlyuchenko has come alive, Holding the ball up and making some very good runs.Him and Arshavin will be the two key players and they will be very difficult to defend against.Russias defence isnt great and will be very busy with Villa and Torres causing them problems.I think Torres will have a better game here as Russia play alot more open football and he should find himself in a few more spaces.Spains defence is far from great and even though they kept their first clean sheet of the tounament against Italy, Russia will cause them a few more problems imo.I think Spains experiance will help them reach the final but the best bet i think is over 2.5 goals.Neiher defence is unbeatable and both teams are great upfront so i can see goals here.

Germany Win By 2 Goals

(25/06 19:45) Germany v Turkey : Germany -1.25 Win @ 2.10

Euro 2008 Matches

Turkey are without key players while Germany are full of confidence and have a fully fit squad to choose from.Turkey might frustrate Germany for a while but i think Germany will have too much pace and quality to win this by 2 goals at least.

Germany Comfortably Through

(25/06 19:45) Germany v Turkey : Germany Win @ 1.45

Euro 2008 Matches

There’s no way you can question Turkeys spirit through this tournament and they have done brilliantly to get this far but this is surely as far as they can go. They pulled off another shock when taking Croatia to penalties and beating them (although that was far from Croatia’s best performance). I just cant see them coping with all the injuries and suspensions that they have. Drawing with Croatia was one thing (especially after Croatia had beaten Germany) but now they face a Germany side that has grown in confidence after beating Portugal (who beat Turkey 2-0 in the first game) and don’t have many injuries to contend with. Germany improved a lot against Portugal and if they play like that here they should comfortably go through. Turkey have only 13 players available. First choice keeper Demirel is suspended and he is joined by the influential Tuncay Sanli, Arda Turan and Emre Asik. Them on top of the many injuries including Nihat, i think they will struggle here. Most of us England fans would probably love nothing more than Turkey knocking Germany out but i think they are going to face a really tough night. Germany still wont take them lightly though and know that they will set up to try and frustrate Germany. They will need to be at their best to keep Podolski and Klose out. Ballack has started to look more himself in the last couple of games and Schweinsteiger has also been really quick and dangerous down that left hand side.Turkey’s 2nd choice keeper Rustu is experienced but looked rather Rusty against Croatia. They do have Aurelio is available though which looks like the only good bit of news for Turkey. I think Germany will win this comfortably. They have a fully fit squad and after their quarter final win they are full of confidence. Germany win.

Tough Love Will Be Tough To Beat

(24/06 16:45) 4:45 Beverley : Tough Love Win nap @ 4.50

Horse Racing

Course and distance winner returned from a 7 month break in April showing that he really needed the run out when 10th of 18 at Thirsk.Improved for it lto at Nottingham when a very good 3rd, 3/4 of a legnth behind Wahoo Sam.Was given alot to do in that race but a repeat of that run would be enough here and with usual jockey D Allen on board today will be tough to beat.Yard is in good form and its always hard to ignore when D Allen is teaming up with Easterby. This looks the best bet of the day here.

Ogre Should Have Enough

(24/06 15:30) 3:30 Brighton : Ogre Win @ 2.75

Horse Racing

With main danger Nawamees a non runner she is the only one left who knows how to win a race. She is nicely weighted and even though there is still a little doubt as to wether she can stay this far i think she will just have too much for this weaker opposition.Yards in good form and she is their only runner of the day.
