Some like French Opera and Free World look too high in the weights although do have good form. It would also be nice to see a Henderson winner here but think they will just fail but Tizzards Oiseau De Nuit is a CD winner and was only beaten 3 1/4 lengths by talented Kalahari King at Doncaster latest in February and may have got nearer but for interference at the last. Another run like that and has to have a chance. At 20s, Pipes Consigliere is also a lively e/w alternative.

Peveril has won last three hurdles on all types of ground, his latest win over Court In Motion by 1/2 length @ Warwick where they were 20 + lengths ahead of the rest. Jockey David Bass has 8 lb claim and could give Henderson another Cheltenham winner. On Borrowed Wings would be a welcomed winner after McCriricks rantings about jockey O Connells ride on Dunguib and it could happen as has not been out of first two in last 6 outings.

Jonjo ONeills Bob Hall has won three chases on the trot and was favourite in each of these so am a bit surprised he is so big here. OK, they were on tracks like Ludlow and Wetherby and he is upped in trip again but wouldnt be surprised to see him go in again or place at least as he goes on any ground and runs well for pilot Mr Alan Berry. Also considered Roulez Cool and at nice odds Kilty Storm after his latest run at Leopardstown.

Mullins Enterprise Park is unbeaten so far and looks value against Tell Massini. Rested since December when winning by 5 1/2 lengths @ Limerick. Upped in trip now and looked full of running after 2m 6 f win in heavy so shouldnt be a problem. Obviously Tell Massini will be hard to beat but another that could go well at a decent price is the unbeaten Chartreux for Pipe whos stable are doing well of late.

Think Bellvano and Tawaagg both have a great chance in the County Hurdle and will dutch the pair. Tawaagg had to go wide when chasing Puyol home in MCR Hurdle at Leopardstown in January only losing by 1/2 a length. He showed his speed there and with a clear run should have scored. Another run of that calibre from the Mullins charge puts him in the frame here at least and carry on good run of form 21-112.

Expecting Henderson / Geraghty to have a decent final day with likes of Soldatino in first race and Bellvano here. Has two wins and a second this term beating Gus Macrae latest who has won again since altho came 11th to Peddlers Cross in the Neptune Investment a couple of days ago but put this down to not being soft enough. It is Bellvanos 2nd to Menorah though that gives me great faith with that horse going on to win Supreme Novices Hurdle on first day of the festival. Also expect Mullins horse Tawaagg to have a decent run too and will be dutching the pair.

Some very good sorts here especially in Alaivan and Carlito Brigante but just ahead of them I have Hendersons Soldatino. Won both his hurdles, the latest being The Adonis at Kempton by 7 lengths. Expect this improving grey to be kept at the back gradually stalking his way through field and be pushed out 4 from home when he can show his speed. Barizan, form 1112 looks a very big price for a place considering not out of first two in last 5 races and its 2nd to Pistolet Noir was a decent effort and will be fresh coming into this.

Big Bucks looks to be the one to be on but at odds on and with fate of these favs at this festival so far am looking for an e/w alternative. Was tempted by Karabak under McCoy as was 2nd to Big Bucks at Newbury latest but there maybe a gem in Sentry Duty. Is being upped in trip but looked to have some left in the tank when beating Katchit in freedom Hurdle here in January and if his jumping improves could surprise and go very well.

Another open looking contest, am going against Rivaliste who has been off over 3 months although Take The Breeze keeps him well handicapped and has Ruby aboard. Looked at Hey Big Spender who goes well at Cheltenham and also Ferdy Murphys The Hollinwell with form 121 and is highly thought of but at bigger odds am plumping for Kings Forest. A Celtic Swing (fav horse) progeny who runs for Miss lavelle under Jack Doyle. He won latest at Taunton by 13 lengths under same jockey, will know about likes of Seven Is My Number when third at Bangor in Oct 09 and couldve done a lot better but for several blunders. Hopefully improving and could well place / surprise.

The prices suggest a two horse race between Voler La Vedette and Quevega who won this so easily last year although hasnt looked the same since and has a long absence to overcome. Voler does look the pick but at these odds will pass and look for a larger e/w option. Arctic Magic comes into this on back of a win here in January, is upped in trip again which could be a good thing and if is held back long enough may be able to capitalise if having enough up her sleeve even being the age she is.
