Radwanska Can Get Past Wozniacki
(20/03 02:30) Agnieszka Radwanska vs Caroline Wozniacki : Agnieszka Radwanska Win @ 2.00 Tennis |
Agnieszka Radwanka has looked in top form this week, she is yet to drop a set and claimed a huge win in the quarter finals over Elena Dementieva. Radwanskas game has looked very good and they havent been easy tests shes had to overcome either with Gisela Dulko, Marion Bartoli and of course Dementieva beaten by her. Caroline Wozniacki has shown real battling qualities to get through this week as all but one of her matches have gone into deciders. That does show that shes up for the battle but also shes struggled at times and Im not sure if she is at the same level of form as Radwanska. The bookies see it as a close contest and both players have beaten each other once. Only four places separate them in the ranking as well but I have a feeling it will be the lower ranked Radwanska who wins. |

Murray Will Have To Work Hard For His Semi Final Place
(19/03 22:30) Andrew Murray vs Robin Soderling : Andrew Murray to win 2 - 1 Win @ 3.75 Tennis |
Only three places separate these two players in the ATP rankings and both players have been in very good form this season, so I expect the match to go the whole three sets. Murray has looked good in Indian Wells this week, he is yet to drop a set and he only played one set and three games in the last round after Nicolas Almagro retired injured. He struggled in Dubai two weeks ago and went out early against Janko Tipsarevic so it could be tough for him to hit full stride like he did in Melbourne, but I think hes a great player and he will win. Soderling is a very dangerous player and has really come alive since beating Rafa Nadal at Roland Garros last season. The Swede has lost just three of his 14 matches this season and after a very disappointing start to the season, hes been playing really well since going out in the first round of the Australian Open. He won the indoors in Rotterdam and like Murray he hasnt dropped a set this week and that includes a win over Jo-Wilfried Tsonga in the last round. Both of these players are quality top 10 guys and it should be close because of their form, but it has to be Murray for me. |

Hey Big Spender Has A Big Chance
(18/03 13:30) 1:30 Cheltenham : Hey Big Spender EW @ 10.50 Horse Racing |
Hey Big Spender produced a very strong performance to win over C&D last time out and it should stand him in good stead here. He absolutley powered home and it looked like the distance really suited him. Hes very versatile ground wise but that little bit of juice in the ground makes it lovely ground for him. Gone up 8lb but hes looked extremley good over fences and I like his chances in this contest. |

Baghdatis Should Build On Federer Win
(18/03 00:10) Marcos Baghdatis vs Tommy Robredo : Marcos Baghdatis to win 2 - 0 Win @ 2.10 Tennis |
If Marcos Baghdatis cant take confidence from coming back from a set down to beat Roger Federer then he might as well not bother. It was a massive win for the inconsistent Cypriot who is looking like hes coming back to his best this season. Hes lost just three of 16 matches on hard courts so far this season and came to Indian Wells on the back of a semi final place in Dubai and a very nice weekend against lowly ranked Egyptian players who he thrashed without dropping a set. He looked good in his first match of the week against Arnaud Clement and at the moment he looks like a player in very good form. Robredo is ten places above Baghdatis at #23 in the rankings but he hasnt played great tennis so far this season. Hes won two matches this week and its the first time hes won consecutive games on the ATP tour since playing at Valencia last season. This guy hasnt played much tennis and his form hasnt been great. He looked good in the last round against Dudi Sela dropping just three games but Robredo is better on clay and he might find Baghdatis a bit too strong tonight. These two have met three times before and the Cypriot has won all three of those games and is yet to lose any of the seven sets played. |

We Should See Goals In Lisbon
(18/03 20:00) Sporting v Atletico Madrid : Over 2.5 Win @ 2.10 Europa League |
Two sides who have had big problems with form this season but have really turned it around of late. Sporting had been in big danger of missing out on European qualification before they turned things up recently but after beating European rivals Guimaraes 3-1 at the weekend, they are five points ahead of them in 4th place. Theyve been hammering the goals in recently scoring three goals in each of their last three matches with Everton and Porto the two other teams along with Saturdays win. Liedson is back in form and the whole team has been lifted since they beat Everton in the last round. They are however short at the back for this game with two defenders sent off in Madrid last week and that means they will have to make changes. Atletico nicked a 1-0 win over Osasuna on Monday night, this despite having ten men for the last half an hour or so, they showed a real defensive spirit which makes them dangerous. We know they can do a job on the road having won 2-1 in Istanbul against Galatasaray in the last round with Forlan scoring a 90th minute winner which saved them having to go into extra time. Aguero looked in fine form in last weeks tie and he and Forlan should really test Sportings makeshift back four. Sportings last seven home game has seen over 2.5 goals scored and I believe this game could follow that pattern. |

Bremen Can Claim Scalp Of Los Che
(18/03 18:00) Werder Bremen v Valencia : Werder Bremen Win @ 2.15 Europa League |
Werder Bremen reached the final of the UEFA Cup last season and they look a good bet to do well in seasons Europa League. They have taken the competition seriously from day one and they played really well in the group stages and were one of the highest scorers. Theyve lost just one of their last ten matches in all competitions and Ive seen them put in some impressive performances of late. I was very impressed with them as they knocked out Twente with a 4-1 win in Bremen after losing 1-0 away in the last round and the 1-1 draw in Valencia suits them a lot more than it does for the home team. Theyve got a lot of quality going forward, score plenty of goals and have a back four (Pasanen, Metersacker, Naldo and Fritz) which is settled and very experienced. Valencia have gone off the boil in a bad way recently and their form in the last couple of weeks worries me ahead of the game. They did well to hold Barcelona in the first half of their clash on Sunday but a Messi hat-trick killed them in the second half as they lost 3-0. They look weak at the back and their defensive performances in this competition have been far from solid (not keeping a clean sheet since the first knockout round first leg). Three of the midfielders which started on Sunday, Albelda, Banega and Pablo Hernandez all miss out here and David Villa is a big doubt. They are a really good side to watch and this should be a good game, but Bremen know how to get a job done and at home I can see them advancing with victory. |

Warrington Wont Do What Wigan Did
(13/03 17:30) Warrington v Bradford : Warrington -8.0 Win @ 1.90 Rugby League |
Bradford made an unbelievable second half comeback against leaders Wigan last week coming from 20-0 down to win 22-20 on Friday night with pre season signing Matt Orford the star of the show. They do look a much better side this season and come in to this game on the back of three consecutive wins. But I still have many doubts about them and they will be given a real test at the Haliwell Jones. Warrington have won all but one of their matches this season which was a narrow home defeat against Wigan. They were very clinical in giving the Crusaders a 46-12 thrashing last week and I believe the reigning Challenge Cup winners have a little bit more class about them and have looked a better side in the opening few weeks of the Super League season. |

Bulls Should Have Way Too Much For Highlanders
(13/03 15:05) Bulls v Highlanders : Bulls -22.5 Win @ 1.90 Rugby Union |
The Bulls have scored 51, 50 and 48 points in each of their three matches so far this season and with them coming off a bye week, I expect them to give the Highlanders a real beating. The Bulls look like the best team in the Super 14 again this season after winning it last year and there are no obvious weaknesses. They have a good set peice, exciting backs and a very solid and high quality half back partnership. The Highlanders were given a real beating by the Stormers last week as they lost 33-0 and they are missing three of their best players in Pretoria. All Black and captain Jimmy Cowan is injured, while fellow All Black flanker Adam Thomson and fly half Michael Hobbs have been given a week suspension by the club for missing a curfew. They dont have the quality to match the Bulls and their record in Pretoria in recent years isnt great. |

Sharks Will Be Fired Up For This One
(13/03 08:40) Brumbies v Sharks : Sharks +9.5 Win @ 1.80 Rugby Union |
The Sharks have lost all four of their Super 14 matches this season and dating back to last season eight of their last nine in the league. But they looked miles better last week against the Waratahs as they lost just 25-21 and that game was maybe a turning point. Theyve got a lot more quality than their position suggests and with Stefan Terblanche, Odwa Ndungane, Adrian Jacobs, JP Pienaar and Ruan Pienaar in the backs you can see they are a good team. But they just havent been able to get going this season and now is the time to get their act together. Theyve got a decent pack and three of their four losses this season have been by five points or less, so I expect them to really work the Brumbies. The home side have won three of their four matches and have looked very strong defensivley. They beat the Lions pretty comfortably last week but had plenty of chances to get the bonus point when they needed just one try and they found it hard to get over the white line towards the end. With Matt Giteau and Stirling Mortlock in the backs and a host of Wallabies in the pack you can see they are a top team who could mount a really big challenge for the title this season. But I think they will be made to work hard for this win even though the Sharks have won just one of their last eight visits to Canberra. |

It Will Be Close In Athlone
(12/03 19:35) Ireland U20s v Wales U20s : Wales U20s +7.5 Win @ 1.80 Rugby Union |
Wales made a very bad start to the competition away in Gloucester as they took a real beating from England but their last two performances have been excellent and I think they will push Ireland really close tonight. Wales had to work really hard to beat Scotland in week two of the competition but two weeks ago they absolutley hammered France 43-8 at the Arms Park. Obviously you worry about the first game which was their only away game so far but it looks to me lessons have been learned. They look strong up front and they have some really strong runners behind the scrum, their defence against France was excellent as well. Ireland picked up a superb wins themselves two weeks ago as they ended Englands Grand Slam dreams with a 25-10 in Gloucester. Only France have beaten them so far and that was on French soil and their home form is excellent with their last home defeat coming against Wales two years ago which could be a good omen for me and other Welsh fans. These two have had some really tight contests in the last 12 months with Ireland winning 9-7 at Stradey Park last year and Wales winning 19-17 in the Junior World Cup in the summer. Both are in form but Wales have made just two changes to the team that won two weeks ago and continutity could be very important in this game with Ireland making several changes, including a new look front row. |

I've been betting for about 2 or 3 years now but after finding OLBG I gave up on betting and decided to use this site instead as it gave me a great opportunity to use my knowledge and pass my views on to others, aswell as not having the trouble of losing real money I can now still tip as a hobby but not lose any money. I still do bet once in a while on football coupons, Lucky 15s e.g but only small stakes as I have always been pretty tight with money and OLBG helps continue my passion. I am a big football fan and I have a very wide knowledge of football, I am a massive fan of the Premier League and support Middlesbrough and I have a very keen interest in Eastern European football. I am also a massive Rugby fan, especially Rugby Union and the other sports I have a good knowledge of is Baseball, Tennis and American Football.
