Lush Lashes classic favourite after York win

Lush Lashes is the new favourite for the Epsom Oaks after her comfortable victory in the Tattersalls Musidora Stakes at York on Wednesday.
The Jim Bolger-trained filly only managed to finish sixth in the 1,000 Guineas but looked more suited to the longer distance at York, as she beat Cape Amber by five lengths, with the well fancied Dar Re Mi and Moonstone coming home third and fourth.
Lush Lashes' price for The Oaks has shortened from 10/1 to 11/4 with Stan James, even though there is no guarantee she will take part.
After the victory, travelling head lad Ger Flynn said Bolger had not made a decision about her participation in the Epsom classic, which may be too soon for her to race again.
"At the moment the Oaks at Epsom and the Curragh are on the cards, but it will more likely be the Curragh. We won't rule the English Oaks out, we'll see how she is when we get her home," Flynn added.
Cape Amber has come in from 12/1 to 8/1 with VC Bet for the Epsom Oaks after trainer Peter Chapple-Hyam predicted she would perform even better over the classic distance.
However, former Oaks favourite Moonstone's price has drifted to 14/1 with Bet365 and Dar Re Mi can now be backed at 16/1 with Paddy Power.
