It's getting exciting, we've been waiting a long while for this part of the tournament to take place.
The big guns in Europe will be battling it out for the glory.
Not the champions league OLBG SHOE!!
We currently have just four entrants who're willing to give their gluteus maximus a break and try and take the Rd 2 title, anybody else up for the challenge.
$3.30 for the chance and the glory of being the first ever fixed limit hold em champion of OLBG we're waiting for your challenge. _________________ If you try to fail, and succeed, which have you done?

Two's company, Three's a crowd and Four is an OLBG gathering.
Myself, Amy, Zag and Tunny battled it out last night for the title of Fixed Limit champion and a very close tournament it was. Chipstacks dwindled with everyone going above 2000 chips in the early levels (apart from myself )
I was the first to admit Fixed Lim Holdem aint exactly one of my strongest variations of poker and that showed as my chips were slowly spread out across the table and I took the glorious position of 4th place
Next to go was tunny, he fought long and hard but alas to no avail as he cashed in in third place.
A typical OLBG heads up then started with Zag and Amy fighting it out for what seemed like ages, it was Mr Zag who took the advantage though denting Amy's stack and dealing the killer blow to take the title.
Well played you lot, look forward to Rd 3 if I'm not too jet lagged!!

He He Thanks for your faith in me Tunny
But i was really lucky heads up, Amy played well all night but i just got the run of the cards.
May only have been 4 of the crew but the quality of play was still top notch and Tunny and Rik were their usual consistent self.
Hopefully more of the crew can join in next week for what is a great alternative to the Monday and Thursday games, where else can you get quality cards and superb chat from great people for only $3 !!!!!!
It`s a bargain _________________ Italian Old Master - Read the Kankeano v. Zagreb head 2 head Blog. The ONLY derby clash for season 2007/08!

Congrats Zag for winning on Tuesday. I was'nt there, but I'm sure you gave your best as usual and reaped the rewards.
Betwoody have cut Zag into 2/5 favourite at the halfway stage for the OLBG SHOE title, and I'd say the price is about right. Think the value bets are Gutshot @ 6/1 or Rik @ 12/1 with his -1 game 'I'm in Vegas!' handicap, possibly even the dark horse Amy at a ridiculous 8/1, that price could look very silly by the end of leg 3.
Come and get involved forumites! It's the only way to turn yourself from an outsider to the red hot favourite _________________ Don't worry, we've got Neil Warnock! |

2/5 Woodster !!!!!!!!!!!!!! I`m flattered But one things for sure, none of the Zaggy stash will be heading Betwoody`s way much to short
I`d personally have a few quid on young Miss Amy who was very unlucky indeed heads up, and if it wasnt for her little dog keeping her up all night (ask her tonight ) i`d of been a goner!!
Can`t wait for the next round, learning all the time. _________________ Italian Old Master - Read the Kankeano v. Zagreb head 2 head Blog. The ONLY derby clash for season 2007/08!
