First off, thanks to Mr Woody a.k.a the OLBG poker guru for creating this thread.
Welcome all to the OLBG Heads Up tournament.
****Attention****
Will be played on the 27th June. First match ups will be posted at 7.30pm and must be started by 8.00pm.
This will be a seeded tournament up to 32 players and seeding will be decided by when players give acknowledgement of there entry.
Once an entry has been placed it will be added below.
Closing date for entries is 6.55pm on the 27th June.
Play will take place on $1 private sit and go tables with both players starting at 1500 chips with the blinds raised every 10 hands.
The first two rounds (one if 16 or less people enter) will be straight knockout. You lose, you're out. The semi final will be best of 3 games (first to 2 wins) and the Final and 3rd place playoff will be best of 5 games (first to 3 wins).
----------------------------------------------------------------------------------
----------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Current Seedings:
1. Jwoodywoody
2. Tunny0
3. Gutshot
4. Deco121
5. Amy01
6. Gruffe
7. The Frogster
8. The Wish
9. Bonakshed
10. Finalfill
----------------------------------------------------------------------------------
----------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Haven't yet decided whether I am going to play in this tournament as a lot of organisation (table creation etc.) is required. However if the entries are low enough i'll join in.

Count me in guys You cant beat abit of HU matches
Is the tournament going to run to its conclusion on the night, because if so I feel it could be a very long night for all involved Just to clear things up too, if its a seperate HU stt every game, is it $1 per match I'm broke _________________ Think Big, because if you pay peanuts your only going to attract monkeys. |

Working it out AJ, the most you can lose is $1 unless you get a bye through.
Win round 1: Best of 1. Profit : ($1 total profit)
Win semi: Best of 3: 2-1 ($2 total profit) 2-0 ($3 total profit)
So if you win the first match it pays for your second.. etc. etc.
The most games you'll play is 10 if there are 16 players and in order for 10 to be played you would've won 4 of the 5 going into the final and would be up $3 ($4-$1). Lose the final 0-3 and you break even.
As for it taking all night, if we get to the final stage and its too late I'm more than happy to postpone and reschedule for the finalists. But knowing the hardcore poker players on here we'll be playing all night long!!
