| I really enjoy playing on the Ladbrokes freerolls but now they have cancelled all 4 of them each day and replaced it with just one tournament that requires 1 poker point to enter |

Maybe these new 'money back' tournaments will eventually replace freerolls altogether; the poker sites force people to make a real money deposit in order to enter them, while anyone who chooses to play them is basically playing a freeroll tournament which uses a deposit that they get back if they don't make the money.
I reckon that's how freerolls will be handled in the future, also poker sites may use player points to restrict who can play in the freerolls but I like the other aforementioned method over one that uses player points. Would be a real shame to lose freerolls altogether imo. _________________ Don't worry, we've got Neil Warnock! |

prefer the no lose tourney as the field is usually much smaller so odds are shorter.
can't find many though. only regular one seems to be Bet365 .think they have 3 per day with the best one at 7pm GMT. Usually about 300 runners for $500. |

Hey, I have been a member of Ladbrokes for a while now and have just found out about this website! I am only 18 and a studentttt haha! I have bits and bobs of money about and was wondering if anyone has any tips for me to build up my $ at present I have about 15$ in my account. I have been playing poker for ages but never online. usually just play with friends and small cash freezeouts at casino.
Cheers Ross |

Well am 19 and at college 4 days a week so I am careful with my money too, i deposited £10 just after xmas to get about $19 in my account.. Apart from when I play with OLBG most of the time I play the 10 pays 5 tables at Ladbrokes.. This way I know I have a really good chance of getting double my $ I paid to play on the table.. I find this a really good way of keeping a healthy bank-roll.. I stick to $2 and $5 tables but only when I know I can afford to lose more money do I go higher.. of course I dont win them all even if it is 10 pays 5 but this way I dont have to keep depositing money to have fun playing poker.
When on 10 pays 5 I think if you play sensibly its hard to lose more than you win.
Its just being sensible and playing with what you can afford to lose mate.
I put more back than I take out this way.. Winning a few $2 tables to start with then try on a $5 and come in the top 5, I have £5 to send to my bank.
Getting placed in a OLBG Tournament helps the bank-roll very good
Hope it helps _________________ Money won is twice as sweet as money earned. |

| Since I am new to OLBG, I was just wondering what actually is this OLBG poker thing? Cheers for the help Tipster but what are the stakes playing in these games? Basically how much do I need to pay to join these 10 seaters with 5 being paid? PM me with your msn address if you like and we can chat on there if you have it |

Well Rossy, we hold two weekly multi table tournaments, one on a Monday and the other on Thursday, both at 8:35pm on Ladbrokes Poker, check out the latest OLBG Poker Nights thread for details on what you need to do before joining your first tournament:

Well The lowest is $2.30 which is about £1.. then it goes up to $5.50 and $10.. I dont go much higher than $5 unless I cant afford to.
The minimun depoisit from your bank can be £5 which is $9.80 so is not to bad really. _________________ Money won is twice as sweet as money earned. |
