6543A; 76432; 7642A; 6532A; 65432
OK,
the low hand starts with the highest card.
so:
the hands with a 7 are the two worst.
76432 loses to 7642A because they both have 764 so you go to the next card the 3 and the 2. The two is lower so the 7642A would take the pot!!
same applies for the other three.
Best: 6532A
6543A
65432
7642A
Worst: 76432
Hope that clears things up.
Another example would be a board of 764KJ
You hold A5xx in your hand. The hands that can beat you are 32, 3A, 2A.
On a board of 8534K. You hold 2,7 better hands are:
A2, A3, A4, A5, A6, A7.

Well chuffed folks, my masterplan of getting poppycoxed seemed to work out all right in the end, with a little luck (as usuall ).
VWP all, especially AJ, who I had to keep a close eye on, and had he not thought (as I did until that afternoon) that the Lo went from Ace up, it may of been a different outcome, (that and rivering a str8 to knock jww out)!
When do I get the bracelet??
ps tyvm Rik & JWW for spending the time to put it all together etc...
I guess I have to wait 'till next year to get the right shoe (hope they match).... _________________ 2008 OLBG S.H.O.E Poker Champion

Pmsl But surely nobody can get that lucky twice
No really joking aside, apart from hitting runner runner str8 against Woody, Burrfoot played another great game. Finishing 3rd, 1st, 2nd and 2nd is an excellent achievement. Well played matey, the "SHOE" is in the post.
Never thought that getting rivered by Woody in the 1st round (7 card stud) would cost me so dearly, c'est la vie, that's poker baby. _________________ Think Big, because if you pay peanuts your only going to attract monkeys. |

A congratulations goes to Burrfoot for what was an epic performance in all four rounds. Wonder what the odds at BetWoody would have been for this man to cash in all 4 tournaments. Which against these players and in these disciplines is no mean feat!!! Well played sir.
The silver medal was taken by our very own Mr Omaha who took the last two tournaments by storm but was caught out in the stud leg and was playing catch up from then. AcesJones good to see you back playing cards and well played.
Finally taking the rest of the spoils was our very own poker guru, MrWoodywoodywoody. Last year he managed 4th place in the 07' series this year one better with some fine performances in all 4 legs with two cashes a 2nd and a 3rd.
Winners of each leg:
S even stud - Bonak_Shed
H old em - Burfoot
O maha - Aces Jones
E ights or better - Aces Jones _________________ If you try to fail, and succeed, which have you done?
