Evenin folks,
I just logged onto to laddies and they've changed it all again. Im thinking Im liking it - it looks better and the new hand history is better. On the minus side they've made the casino easier to dip into and worse still, they seem to have done away with the profiles!?

I've not logged into my account yet, but from what I hear this sounds like a major upgrade with lots of useful features added. I'm interested to see what is meant when Laddies say they have improved Fully customisable tables and Automatic multi-table tiling...all they need now is 250,000 more members and I can begin to consider playing on there more regularly! _________________ Don't worry, we've got Neil Warnock! |

I played last night, i was gobsmacked i hated it, but with anything whats new, i slowly got used it, i think once ive got it set uphow i want it, ill like it.
And i agree with Woods, Casino and other side games are made too easy to pick, giving Ladbrokes an obvious sense there are targetin Casino games more than poker _________________

First impressions... I like it for the most part, but I think it could be improved upon.
Specifically, I love the fact you can resize the tables when using the normal view, but I don't like having the chat window as such a tiny portion of the bottom left corner of the window, it's far too small to be able to keep up with everybody chatting.
I'd like to be able to resize the large view layout so the chat facility can stay on the right hand side and I can fit 4 tables on my screen, all with chat running down the right hand side of each window.
The resizing aspect is the best part of the upgrade I've noticed so far though, I think all sites should offer this customisability.
Once again, I think Laddies have taylor made an upgrade to cater for the cash game players rather than the tourney players; they've made it easier to multitable, but the way I see it there's not enough traffic on the site to consider multitabling the SNG's, the tables take far too long to fill for that. So I see the multitabling improvements benefitting the cash game players more than the SNG players.
I think rather than spending god knows how much on yet another software upgrade, Laddies should be focussing on their core problem, not enough player traffic. If I was in charge of Laddies Poker, I would be doing everything in my power to get more Laddies sportsbook clients playing poker. I don't know the numbers but I can guesstimate that if Laddies got 20% of their sportsbook customers using Laddies poker, they would have similar traffic to the most populated online cardrooms. _________________ Don't worry, we've got Neil Warnock! |

Came to the conclusion that overall the upgrade is....
POPPYCOX
If you are doing anything else on the net or more importantly playing more than 1 table it automatically flips tables when its your action..
I have lost quite a bit of money raising wie aces (or Q9 or something on one table only to find laddies thought it would be a good idea to flip me to another table so that i reraised wie 73 off!!!!!
Also it has taken me ages to type this because every time its my move it flips me to the game
AAAAAAAAARRRRRRRRRRRGggghhhhhhhhhhhhh............
I only really play 2 or 3 tables max so god knows how bad it must be for those truely multitabling _________________ 2008 OLBG S.H.O.E Poker Champion

I'm not sure whether this will fix your specific problem, but you should be able to stop the table flipping by unchecking the following option:
Menu > Options > Bring Window To Top
If you load up a table and then click on the Menu button in the top right corner and take it from there.
Hope this helps matey
I agree that Laddies has become les multitabling friendly, not only do they not have the traffic toallow for it, now they don't have the best software for it either! _________________ Don't worry, we've got Neil Warnock! |

With the latest software does anybody else find that their program never loads on the 1st attempt. _________________ "He who is not courageous enough to take risks will accomplish nothing in life." |

It could be that your GameHistory.Dat file has been corrupted in your Ladbrokes folder or it could be you need to delete your temporary Internet files.
You can delete you temporary internet files by using Internet Explorer and going to Tools > Internet Options > General Tab > Browsing History > Delete > Delete Files (pertaining to temporary Internet files).
You can replace your GameHistory.Dat file by renaming it to something like GameHistory_Corrupted.Dat, then when you open Laddies and play another hand, it will create a fresh new Gamehistory.Dat file. You would lose your hand history if there is corruption in this file, you can always revert back if this is'nt the problem, I believe. This file lives in your Ladbrokes folder, which normally resides in C:\Microgaming\Poker\Ladbrokes
Hope this helps _________________ Don't worry, we've got Neil Warnock! |

Downloaded laddys last night but missed the tourney never mind.
Firstly i think laddys is a terrible interface with poor graphics, i really don't like it at all, i suppose i have got used to playing on the merge network(pdc) which in my opinion is a million times better with out a shadow of a doubt in all aspects.
Different strokes for different folks . |
