Sky Poker Freeroll for OLBG Members £500!

OLBG members as at 19 August 2008 are invited to a private freeroll at Sky Poker on Friday 12 September at 7.45pm

Its a big prize fund - even bigger if you say its about $1000 and there are some strict rules to ensure that only genuine OLBG members can take part.

Here is what you need to do

1) Sign up with Sky Poker via a link on OLBG during August - there is a link on the right of this forum!
2) Make a deposit into your new Sky Poker account during August - any amount
3) Post your OLBG and Sky Poker usernames on this thread during August
4) We'll send you the password via PM during the week of the tournament
5) Turn up on the night and try and win some free cash!

Thanks for supporting these private tournaments - the more members who participate in them, the more we will be able to arrange for you.

EDIT: If you are an existing OLBG member as at 18th August 2008 and already have a Sky Poker account you can enter. Those finding OLBG on Sky Poker and signing up to take part in this event will not be eligable to play.

Is it only for people who open NEW accounts on Sky Poker via this forum?

Also personal opinion is that there should be a previous date you had to be a member to play this,not saying anything about anyone in particular but a lot of first posts already just putting name down for a freebie,always the same on any forum,free money attracts them like flies on ****

I feel your pain Murph and agree whole heartedly however I'm sure 1 of the mods will say shortly that this special is not exclusively for existing members but to also attract new members.

Now I beleive that 99% of these new members will never be seen again and that does annoy me too as they are just trying to grab the free cash, but I do recognise the sites right to use promotions like this to attract new members and advertise the site.

I like the fact that they have 1 day ie today to sign up and from tonight no new entries will be accepted.

But lets hope the regulars can take all the paid positions and that a few new members stick around and join the regular games.

I have just made my first deposit to Sky Poker

Have never played the site,i understand it is fast structured

But any site willing to make such a fantastic offer to this forum is worthy of being given a fair crack of the whip in my eyes,so i will be playing a few games next few days to check it out

How about existing OLBG members that are already playing on Sky Poker, will they be allowed to take part?

They are always on Ladbrokes as the members chose it to be the regular site and also moving it around from site to site gets complicated on a biweekly basis. We tried a few other sites but they had limited success on arranging a regular game.
