|
|
Unfortunately we didnt manage to get an OLBG member through to the Paddy Power Irish Open via the Battle of The Sites Tournament.... so we are going to try again
Paddy are running a private tournie for OLBG members only on Tuesday 21st October at 8.15pm. Buy in will be $5 +0.50 and cash prizes will be distributed as normal.
Paddy Power Poker will be throwing some extra prizes in for us which are likely to be Feeder Satelite tickets for the Irish Open. More details nearer the time but please make a note in your diaries! We want at least one OLBG member at the 2009 Irish Open next Easter!
Password will be distributed by email to all those who have set up their OLBG profiles to show that they like poker...Once logged in just select My Info from the Tipster Comp menu and then make sure that Poker is showing under "My Interests".
In the meantime, if you dont have a Paddy Power account then please sign up via a link on OLBG - like this one - Paddy Power
Thanks for supporting OLBG private poker comps... and dont forget to have your say on the future of OLBG Poker Nights - http://www.online-betting-guide.co.uk/forum/forum18.html |

Nice one Shark
I doubt I'll be going to Birmingham vs Palace this year so I'd like to attend if I may. So all I have to do is update my profile with the word poker and I will recieve an email shortly before the tournament starts?
Sounds like a decent way of protecting the tournament I must say. Good luck to all fellow OLBG'ers who take their chance in this tournament and ultimately the Irish open! _________________ Don't worry, we've got Neil Warnock! |

Thanks Jason Nice one gutshot
Yes - we'll email the password out to all members who have updated their profile..rather than every member. Once you have updated your profile you will also get emails on any other tournies, promotions we run specifically for poker.
Unfortunately its almost impossible to keep these passwords getting out - and pretty inpracticle to run tournaments in other ways.. So we are relying on members not passing the passwords on and not posting them on other forums. If someone does then we could get a few participants we dont know... but afraid we will all just have to accept that. Although anyone found passing our password on will be banned of course.
Look forward to seeing you all at the tables on the 21st |

"update my profile with the word poker"
if you go into MyInfo in the Tipster Area you'll see a section on Interests
Just click on the arrows to make sure "poker" is in the list of things you are interested in
If you are logged in then its bottom left of

Great stuff guys, it would be great to see an OLBG shirt at the final table. However if we can't get anyone to qualify I will happily accept sponsorship from OLBG to play in the main event and wear the logo with pride _________________ Rafael de Silva - The next big thing |

Great stuff
Paddy are giving us 5 entries to feeders/ sats for the 2009 Irish Open - worth about $35 each - so finish in the top 5 and you will get that nice little bonus
Ive registered - The Shark (OLBG)... please let us know your alias once you have registered - if its not blindingly obvious!!
You should be getting an email in the next few hours with the password - if you dont then please send me a PM. Thanks. |

I would normally jump on this but it's slap bang in the middle of Utd v Celtic and I can't miss that for anything. Give me a shout for the next one though. _________________ -
