Hey folks.

i'm off to Liverpool for Everton v Chelsea on Wednesday. Wondering if anyones got any suggestions or thoughts on places to go for poker on the Thursday or Friday as I go home on Saturday.

Best so far that i've found looks like Gala on Queens dock which has a £40 double chance freeze out on thursday and £25 double chance freeze on Friday. £4 reg free.

Circuscasino also has £50 double chance on Fridays.

Has anyone got any experience with either or any alternative suggestions?

cheers

FF

Hello everyone,

I am an amateur Pokter, www.my-online-casinos.com
I like to play occasionally with friends and not long ago I learned about the freeroll tournaments that are very nice because they bind to nothing and I find ca a good way to train.

I am an amateur, but I still think that at least once in my life in Las Vegas to the WSOP, even if I gain nothing is really history to have that feeling of playing in Las Vegas with the greatest.
www.bes10-online-casinos.com

Good until I play on the internet.

I think that playing on the internet especially in tournaments are 2 strategies.

so do carpets quickly enough to climb faster, the foot is his password or his case but since it is a freeroll was not lost because we did not put any money into games.
www.poker-professionals.com

so wait patiently for the right hand to play this last much longer to rapidly increase his stack, but were less likely to get out quickly, so more likely to fit in the gains, while the first can be out in 5 minutes after commencement.

What do you think? If you have any other please let me say??

If I wanted to ask you about Unibet play you?? them what time? and with maximum participation cb??

And also if you have passwords for freeroll UNIBET if you can save by its good will, as in those with password has fewer participants arrive and see a password freeroll slightly higher Besides, I do not understand why. www.280sports.org

Voila that's it for me, I await your reactions! and thank you in advance

I'm a little baffled by what your trying to say in your post to be honest though you'd get more response if you'd created a new topic that was more relevant to your topic.

By the way folks a quick thing on the Liverpool poker.

I went to two places, Leo's (gala) casino on the docks and Circus Casino in the centre of town.

We only did a tournament at one of them as one day we had a nap and woke up too late! The other day we went to the Everton match.

on Wednesday and Thursday we arrived at Leo's later on, Wednesday at around 10:30pm and there were 2 tables almost full so about 16/17 people. Both filled after we arrived with a few interested parties waiting to get involved. 50p/£1 blinds with a resonable standard of play. Thursday we arrived earlier, around 8:30pm and there was only 1 table going which we filled, a bit more banter and chat at this table, mostly decent play, didn't go great for me as I wasn't hitting much at all. I was sat next to a professional Rugby league player and there was some chat about how much Chris Kirkland had won there a few weeks earlier.

On the Friday we went to Circus Casino in time for the tournament, £50 entry (+£5 reg). You got 5,000 chips but then could claim another 5,000 at any point either to top up or as a free rebuy when you go out. This was quite an odd idea i think and I'd prefer to see people get all their chips at the start unless they pay for a rebuy. There were 45 players though 5 more came in late which was allowed before teh break.

I can't recount any of my hands but then none of them for me where very exciting, my cards on the trip really didn't go very well and I dwindled away somewhat with only a few bets and blind takes. I felt for one player who went out to the same player twice in 5 minutes, first with pocket aces against 6's, beaten on the river by the 3rd 6. Then after coming back in he went in with queens only to be beaten by the other guy's Aces!

I went out pretty tamly in 41st, mate did pretty well and was going for about 4 or 5 hours eventually dropping out as the poor bridesmaid 1 place outside the cash in 12th place. By that point the blinds had got a bit high and turned the game into a bit of a lottery, even for those that had a decent stack especially with sizeable ante's.

Luckily I spent my time waiting for him having a brilliant run on the mugs game...roulette! Bring on the 0's!

All round, good time, I've not got many places to compare them to though i'd probably try Leo's tournament next time I go to get a better comparison. The negatives for me at Cirucs were the extra chip stack thing and the blinds turning too high.

Sounds like a great time. Ive played at Circus in Luton and they have a very good set up.

Not all the games are run like you say, that sounds like an exception. There are normally plenty of more standard games, without the free rebuys.

Also at Luton they run sit and goes all the time, normally £10 or £20 buy ins and you just have to wait for a table to fill. These are good fun. You normally get 2/3 good players, 2/3 think they are good but arent, 2/3 drunks...so play in one of these with a couple of mates and chances are 1 of you will cash.

Your probably right there shark. I don't think the games every day were like that and it might have been that the Friday one was done like that to get all that action of the extra people that turn up that day.

The play seemed resonable though I was playing pretty tight (helped by not getting any cards!), some shown were playing smaller hands than me but a lot of thep layers seemed to know each other from previous games so obviously they've got some idea of how likely a person is to be bluffing or shooting with poor cards etc.

Hopefully I'll be up there again for the last game of the seaon and will go to one of the two places if I do.

Found this on their site

So this double chance thing does seem to be quite regular. I guess they want try and keep people in for a decent time - its not much fun with live poker when you exit early is it!

Expect you can be pretty aggressive then early with this type of game. Prefer no rebuys or add ons at all personally.
