As a rule spread betting is very risky and very volatile so not the way to go if you're out of luck.

If you are curious about it and want to play around then BetHiLo is probably the best option as its good on advice and explantions and lets you bet very low stakes so the risk can be managed to small amounts

If u r having "bad luck" gambling or r no good then u r prob gonna run out of luck a lot quicker with spread betting. Anthony is right about it being volatile. Its very easy to lose money without realising it with spread betting, unless u work out the max loss on each bet. It is certainly not a get rich quick option and wouldnt advise it unless u r very disciplined. From wot I have read of yer posts so far, Im not that sure u r?

I wouldnt advise spread betting at all. AS anthony and dammo have said it is very volitle! its also decieving in my eyes, you risk alot for a return that barely matches the risk. Stick to normal betting. Sounds like you need to discipline yourself a bit more though i dont wanna be preachy and thats your own business.
