whenever i have been browsing Betfairs financial betting section the odds for up/down always seem to be very similar - is it that easy to know when the market(s) will close up/down Rolleyes (Sarcasm)

Im fairly amateur when it comes to financial trading but I can pretty much work out which way it may head, but u need to be aware of wot announcements are being made, results of big companies etc when dealing on indices.

The reason they are similar is cos they set odds themselves at the start of the market. They know the probabilities and just give worse odds of course!

I had an account with them, but they have minimal staff, that are a bit slow to say the least!

Its easy enough to win money betting on the markets (duh!) playing safe and getting small odds, but u can build that up over time.

Dammo Qwirky, when is your last bet in BetOnMarkets?

Since I'm new to financial betting and BetOnMarkets is my first explorer, I found it is quite easy and fast to use. Most of the time I place bets in just 3 minutes. I've send some quiries to BetOnMarkets support team and I get very fast response that really answer my doubts.

Maybe you should try it again, maybe they have improve so much since your last bet?

Best of lucks,
Lucky Monkey

So, did they tell you how to sell BetOnMarkets?

I got my money out eventually. Havent really been following financial markets much of late. Was considering selling ftse at 5050 odd the other day cos I reckon its way way too high and could hit 4000 in forthcoming months. Dont really see it going too much higher than current levels.

FTSE betting and Dow Jones on VC Bet Anthony.
Finishing the year below 5000 is 5/4 at the min, over 1/2.
