Is it possible to Lay a horse outright in the win market through spreadbetting?

yeah u just sell. effectively u r laying all positions above it in spread. so for example on a 50-30-20-10 spread with a horse 4-7 if u sell at 4, u r effectively laying top 4 places. obv the better it does the poorer u r.

I think i would only be looking for the outright win Lay.
As i understand it i would still be losing money if it finished 2nd, 3rd, 4th?? |

it would only be an outright Lay if it were priced between 1st and 2nd place spread. all depends on price of selection obv.
