Bart Bryant is the current leader on 6 under par, but a few players had to continue their rounds this morning, one of which was Paul Casey. Since he came backon the course this morning he has been in sublime form. He came back on at 1 under par, and hit three birdies on his 6 holes this morning to finish Rd1 on 4 under. Currently he is trading @ 23/1 on Betfair, but if you ask me, when he returns to the course in about 10 minutes time, I think he can put in a storming round as he has the momentum with him at the moment, and by the end of today I think he will be perfect to trade out, he is also 2.34 to win his 3 ball with Jerry Kelly and Rob Gamez, the latter hit 3 bogeys since he restarted play, whilst Kelly had a birdie on the 7th (his 16th), but cancelled himself out with a bogey on the 8th.
I wouldn't be surprised if Casey ended today's play as the outright leader in all honesty based on the blinding form he has been in tomorrow. He hasn't had a chance to sleep it off like Bryant and 4 of the 5 players currently tied 2nd on 5 under, so I think he could capitalise with a low scoring round, of around 64 or 65.
Paul Casey to win 3 ball with Kelly and Gamez @ 2.34 (Betfair)
Paul Casey to win PODS Championship with view to trade after Rd2 @ 24.00 _________________ Top Football Tipster June 2006

Els is having a total nightmare out there, 2 over after 24 holes, and has in my mind got 12 holes to make up at least 2 shots on the rest of the field, but he can't see to consistently find the green, and I wouldn't be surprised at this rate if he missed the cut here.
Casey is doing nicely, don't think his play can be faulted, currently tackling 4 holes that he did this morning and hit a 2 under from, and sitting on 5 under, traded as low as 9.8 on Betfair for the outright, but I believe he will be in a stronger position at the end of the 9th...
Stricker is worth watching, he's playing well on the back 9 at the moment, on track to par the 16th which is the most difficult hole, don't be surprised if he hits a 64 or 65 today
Anybody else following this tournament. It's looking quite good so far, not the hardest of courses for the top players to stay on par with as there's been very little bogeys amongst the top few players, but it seems like one of those courses where a good place on the green is hard to find and a 2-putt for par is usually the end result _________________ Top Football Tipster June 2006

| Yes i am following it very closely. It will be interesting to see how it unfolds with the winds and the late tee times. I think a lot of players will wd as well.. since they wont get the round in today. My guess is the cut is +2. |

| Let's hope cut is +2 because I had Stricker and Green unders yesterday who both managed to implode today. Very disappointed with Nathan Green today, from -4 to +2 in one day, ouch!! |
