After last weeks display I have now resorted to betting W/O Woods!!
VJ @ 14/1 is my top pick for this, started to get his act together again and if it wasn't for the disastrous 3rd round last week he should have won.
Having finished T3,T5,T36 & 2nd in his last 4 PGA Events, 14/1 for a top 6 finish is value.
My other pick is Ryuji Imada @ 50/1, one of the most in form players at the moment, 2-2nds and a 5th place in his last four starts. The only negative being this is his debut in this event, but worth a punt. |

I'm going to follow the two i picked at the beginning of the year
Martin Kaymer - Clearly a quality golfer and finished second 1 shot behind woods a few weeks ago, missed the cut last week, but he owes me nothing from his 66/1 win at the beginning of the year so will take 80/1 without woods
K.J. Choi also, very talented golfer, just seems a little hit and miss, hoping he'll show up this week though
Some others i may have a look at are Stenson, Westwood, and Baddeley
Good luck everyone |

imada has played at doral twice..
Who cares about how many times hes played in the WGC if it wasn't on this course? That stat is meaningless..dont ya think? I do like your picks though..especially with imada wanting to get into the masters
Choi might be jetlagged..
I like Garcia.bads and casey this week Graeme Mcdowell could be a longshot as well

| Adam Scott for me this weekend, most of my picks recently have been going the distance without ever really troubling the places, so here's hoping for a change of luck................ |

Imo Woods will win but I am not comfortable with the price.
So I am betting in the "without Woods" market. There are many that can be fighting. Vijay the most probable, Michelson the most evident. Garcia, Choi and Cabrera can never be excluded.
I betted for the later (EW) as his irregularities makes better odds.
I would have liked to see Bubba Watson here.
Also betted for Andrés Romero whose fluctuations are large but includes leading positions along 2007.
good luck _________________ tipstonga

Afternoon fellas. Two for me this week.
A Baddeley - You may have guessed this selection seeing that I always back him. Quality player and has already pushed Tiger close in both stroke and matchplay in the past year. At 65/1 has solid credentials.
S Appleby - Three top ten finishes in his last three starts, played well in matchplay recently and at 66/1 is overly generous |

Typical,
I've done an e/w Lucky 15 covering the 4 tournaments
Brier @ 50/1 - Madeira
Baird @ 45/1 - Peurto Rico
Kang @ 40/1 - Asian
and it was a toss-up between Singh & Imada but I went for the "safe" option - Singh.
With so many good scores being posted in the 1st round I think he will struggle to catch up.
Still cracking odds for Imada, mr tiper, good luck with your bet |

| Scott doing his level best to kill off his own chances with late bogeys, going to have to stay close to Tiger and Ogilvy tomorrow......... |

This tournament is shaping up nicely. Amazing round by Vijay. I wrote his career off.. seems like hes still got it
If Tiger can come back from this deficit with those names ahead of him.. |

Probably came at the right time for Tiger and wrong time for others.
Have to say Scott should be about 4 or 5 clear, he's missing some very holeable birdie chances and then bogeying holes he should just concentrate on getting par on.
Still there for me though, hope he stays on till Sunday evening........... |
