not the strongest field this wk at all in the US... very open event indeed
will have a look and see what value there is about... |

AT+T is very difficult in picking a winner with good value.
the name that stands out is Zach Johnson with his excllent course form but since the feild is so weak zach johnson does not represent good value at 14s.
my idea of value are my 3 picks
nicholas thompson 80s playing well top 30 finished last week in tough conditions and went to georgia tech and has good knowledge of the course.
parker mclachlin 80s playing consistent knows the course and expect a big week soon. could this be the week ?
joe oglivie 125s this is more of a optimistic choice as the odds really seem to be excellent value as he finished inside the top 15 last year. however he is in and out of form though that could be said about most of the field. |

So far I´ve gone with Mahan - Villegas (1,98)
Mahan withdrew as u all know last week after vomiting on the 3rd tee. Thought he should take a wk off but no
Bad stats here with 57, CUT, 68.
Villegas finished 3rd in his first appearance here last year and he will be a guy to watch out for in this poor field. Outright/Place on him as well.
Also went with Overton to make cut (2,5)
Great value as far as I know. He is definately among the top-50 in this kind of field and 2,5 is nothing but sensational. |

hi all
hopefully this week we can get some winners between us. there is one bet this week that i really like at 25/1 in paddy powers and he is ;
a.buckle 300/1= a player i have been following since he burst on to the scene last year in the buick invitational and finished 4th , 4 shots behind tiger woods and at one stage in the final round was the leader before slipping back on the back 9.this was the same tournament that b.snedeker [3rd] arrived on the scene. Paddy Power has a.buckle 25/1 to be top australian/new zealand player which i think is a outstanding e.w bet. i might end up with a lot of egg on my face but i really really like this bet.
m.letzig 200/1= another player i am following after graduating from the nationwide tour last year.i am very confident he will win on tour in the next few years.
form this year= events 12, cuts made 6, 2 top 10`s
huge price, worth keeping a eye on him.
d.wilson 50/1=form this year,,events14,cuts made 8, 4 top25, 1 top10
playing well this year and knows how to win.has 43 top 25 and 18 top 10 in his short career as well as winning a tournament.he could go close this week.
r.imada 35/1=last 3 years course form,15-10-2nd loves the course and has finished 2nd twice this year .out of 107 career starts he has finished in the top 25 ,,27 times. has missed 4 of his last 5 starts but i think this course will bring the best out of him this week.
j.byrd 40/1=last 3 years course form,,32-6-9
a player i like and has good course form as well as recent form.
b.crane 25/1= won here in 2003 and finished 6th here in 2004 in his last 2 starts here.playing well and good finish last week.
b.quigley 100/1= no course form to talk about but is playing well and could be worth a look.
too tired now to pick my main fancies but i do seriously like a.buckle in the top australian and new zealand market and m.leitzig e.w and have been watching d.wilson recently.
best of luck everyone |

havent had time and not sure I like picking anyone this week but jonathan BYRD will probably do for me...
been lurking a lot recently and could be his wk to sneak in...top 9 last 2 yrs here helps... 33/1 is ok
kenny PERRY at 40/1 possibly after showing well last wk... ben CRANE likewise although he's only 25/1
good luck guys |

Purely on the basis that he's been playing rubbish recently and I've backed him most weeks, I'm sticking with Zach Johnson. I know if I go off him to another player, he'll win the thing.
Great reasoning by me there!! Haha. |

Don't want to jinx it but the Byrd tip is looking good, 15/8 on Betfair now so can be laid for good profit.
Only had a small bet on Toms earlier today at 14/1. Solid 3 under round can see him being placed on sunday. can still get 11s on him |

your looking good so far gecko
[ byrd and perry ]
you will have a keen interest over the weekend, good shout
so will you cheekyboy, toms is a very good player. he was one of my favourites before he got injured, looks like he is on his way back.
i will take him serious for future tournaments.i did perry and dredge in a eachway double last night, siem and slocum also in a eachway double last night and did byrd 20/1 also [ all in-running friday night ] but of course i had to be greedy and stick 4 bankers in with byrd 20/1
you guessed it ,one of the bankers lost i will never learn and i got what i deserved.
hope i haven`t put a jinx on byrd now |

Some excellent tipping fellas!
I didn't get a chance to study form this week so I just picked up on some of your selections
I've done 2 e/w doubles covering this and the Irish Open
Johnathon Byrd @ 30/1 & Bradley Dredge @ 33/1
Kenny Perry @ 33/1 & Robert Karlsson @33/1
It now looks like my arse will be glued to the seat watching the golf all weekend!!

hi stringfellow
2 nice looking e.w doubles you have there, the place doubles alone would pay a very nice profit
but if you got a win double up followed by
you would not be long in getting your butt of the chair,,glue or no glue
best of luck |
