Good morning all, at least it was when i started this.

Well here we are then the Second Round in the Race To Dubai is almost upon us in the shape of the UBS Hong Kong Open.

A competitive field given that some hav elected to play in the Dunlop Phoenix none theless.

There are a few that you have to respect here notably Miguel Angel Jimenez going for a Third win in this, not saying he can't do it but i am just not sure this week, also Jeev Milkha-Singh would have to be offered the same as he got up to beat a good field in Singapore last week, although it has to be said he is that i'm aware noted for back to back win's, so for a couple of niggling doubts they will be passed over by me this week.

As for my Race To Dubai selections partaking this week the odds on offer to the one's going into bat for me do not quite come up to what i was hoping for, greedy bugger ain't i Laughing .

Right to the one's hopefully going to help swell the Vanstone coffers have fallen on this lot.

Thongchai Jaidee has a good a record as any recently in this allbeit it has to be said without getting his head in front, here's hoping that he can fall over the line this time.

In the event that plan A does not materialise hopefully in position to sweep up the remnants will be Simon Dyson who has hinted recently that better times may be ahead.

My final two for this are firstly Marcus Fraser a bit of a hunch perhaps but he did manage a top 10 last year and hopefully will be refreshed after a short break.

Last but by no means least, firstly given recent efforts he does not exactly leap of the page at you, but also given that he popped up at 50's in 07 a chance is therefore entrusted to Jose Manuel Lara to hopefully come out on top again despite having the weekend off in this last year.

As always the Best Of Luck to everyone in particular to there respective Race To Dubai participants playing this week.

Cheers for now.

Adrian.

Hi

was hoping for better odds on Jaidee after backing him at 66/1 last week! anyway im keeping faith with him as without a poor opening round he would of been in the mix, that coupled with his great course form is enough for me to back him at 25/1.

after backing jeev at 45/1 last week i have reluctantly passed him over this week, same story with mcilroy who i backed at 33/1 last week! odds of 22/1 just dont represent enough value for me.

I have instead gone for David Lynn at 40/1, im hoping after a rest he can continue the previous good form from his last 3 tournaments and go well here.

i have also backed F Molinari at 45/1 as i think hes due a good result!

at longer odds i have also backed Fraser for similar reasons,

In the hope he can build on a good performance last week i have taken a chance on David Gleeson at 80/1

finally i have a speculative bet on S.S.P Chowrasia, 4th on the asian order of merit and hopefuly now hes over a wrist injury he can discover his earlier form, couldnt say no to the 250/1 he's available at

close but no cigar for molinari! gleeson finished in 6th as well so it was a case of near misses for me! think mcilroy deserved to win though
