| Levine, up and coming college student from the USA impressed in the previous tournament he's got a solid game and hopefully he will play solidly enough to beat Stepanek, infront of the U.S crowd he stands half a chance. Lay 1.27 |

One for Zagreb tomorrow:
De Voest over Gabashvili @ 3.00, pure value bet. Gaba should not be this much of a favourite over just about anyone, despite having shown some good form lately he is always prone to throwing in a terrible performance and De Voest has a pretty handy serve and beat an in-form Seppi so he should give me a run for my money at least. Also taking Acasuso over Canas @ 1.96, Acasuso seems to be hitting form with a final in BA last week and with the heat in Acapulco this will be a relatively fast claycourt which should suit him. Also this is Canas' first tournament after a lengthy layoff and being taken to 3 sets by Berlocq in the first round indicates he is still rusty.
And Calleri over Chela @ 2.10, this one could be tough because Chela has a great record at this event but he has been terrible this year and Calleri has won 4 of their last 5 meetings. The match will be on Calleri's racquet in any case, if he turns up with his head screwed on he has the perfect game to hit right through consistent baseliners like Chela, as indicated by his recent wins over the likes of Robredo, Hewitt or Ferrer. soderling/becker/guccione all good value tonight..
soderling been very impressive so far this tourny and dont see roddick breaking him really..since the injury he just seems to be getting better and better..i would say its a 50/50 match so 2.5 is value and the same goes for guccione against a weary stepanek..both value bets imo..
becker has impressed me so far and loves quick indoor hard courts..darcis hasnt beaten two players i dont rate too highly (melzer/spadea), and despite liking him, dont see him as a quick indoor player really, so with becker in form, should take him out at 1.9.. |
