Hi guys,
following picks for today:

WTA TOUR, DUBAI
DEMENTIEVA TO D A. BONDARENKO @ 1.35 at interwetten
Dementieva looks to be in good form this year. Must be too consistent
against an erratic Bondarenko + 2:0 H2H record.

WTA TOUR, DUBAI
JANKOVIC TO D MIRZA @ 1.3 at William Hill
Jankovic can probably beat Mirza anyway (just too consistent for her), but
Mirza has been struggling this year mentally and physically (skipped home
event in India saying she would never play there and retiring in 1st round
of Doha last week).

ATP TOUR, ZAGREB
TIPSAREVIC TO D KARANUSIC @ 1.4 at Pinnacle
Tipsarevic is very talented and particularly on the fast indoor surface.
Can basically beat anyone on the fast surfaces. Karanusic has a big serve
but definetely will lose most of the baseline rallies to Tipsarevic.

Today I fancy Chakvetadze (in-play now) vs Safina

Safina has been OK in the last week or so but I think that Chakvetadze should have enough to beat her compatriot.

Also in-play, having a Lay of Kuznetsova at 1.05, 1 set up but not home and dry.

I reckon that Mauresmo is shocking value to beat Morigami, anybody who can hold a racquet should fancy their chances against MoMo at this point in her career, she was woeful yesterday and it was simply amazing as to how she won (opponent completely bottled it). As long as Morigami keeps her head, there should be a few good opportunities for trading.

jbsouz - i agree with your reasoning but I still feel that there will be good trading opportunities with Bondarenko and Mirza, even if they dont win. Mirza is playing in a 'home away from home' and will receive a lot of support, I'm not sure if JJ will be able to take the heat if the crowd really get behind Mirza.

Bondarenko played OK in her first match but seemed a bit more solid than usual.

=========

I agree that Tipsarevic looks a good shout today.

Also like Gilles Simon to beat Haase @ 1.66.

Hi guys,
following picks for today:

WTA TOUR, MORGAN KEEGAN, MEMPHIS
KVITOVA TO D KUDRYAVTSEVA @ 1.5 at William Hill
17 years old Kvitova has a good attacking game to be in the top 10 - she defeated Medina Garrigues in Paris, was unlucky to lose to Dementieva in the 2nd round there and defeated Venus Williams yesterday.

ATP TOUR, ZAGREB
CILIC TO D BOLELLI @ 1.35 at Betfair
Big serving Cilic playing at home against Bolelli who is not at his best on fast surfaces. 6:3, 6:4 to Cilic last year in Moscow at similarly fast surface

mirza, morigami won their first sets...i've levelled for green on both players and zero on their opponents as i think they're still poor value.

chak has come back well from a set down, levelled out for equal money in that one in the third set.

I fancied Safina to win as she has better form on the surface and better head to head against Chak.

however Safina in the final set I think has suffered a bit and needed some physio, she's held it together though, could be a tie break finish.

Safina still value at 2.6 though as she's still matching her.

Right big bet for me, 7/4 at Coral Pujol to beat Montanes, this guy looks immense strong off both wings he destroyed his opponent last night. Montanes will struggle against this 21 year old who is rising up the rankings fast. Nothings ever a certainty but this looks like a great bet. Goodluck... Coral have restricted my account and I have to go into the betting shops to place this Laughing

decent WTA day there, some excellent tennis in the mirza/jankovic match which was one of the best matches so far this year.

only bondarenko really let me down, absolutely awful against dementieva.

henin was given a scare by srebotnik who faded in the final set. title seems there for henin, given that smasha is out injured.

predicting WTA pre-match is pretty much roulette but I'd expect all of these to win:

JJ to beat Chakkers @ 1.7 - JJ played a good match against an in-form Mirza, looked like she was losing the plot at points (shouting at the crowd) but kept her composure. Seen Chakkers twice in recent weeks and she's played poorly, she's possibly my favourite player on tour as she is absolutely unpredictable and volatile. She managed to beat Safina in three sets today, a decent result but DF's were comfortably into double figures.

JJ just needs to keep the ball in court and she'll win this.

Henin to beat Schiavone - 1.14 for starters, but Schiavone has been in good form, Henin has been winning but unconvincingly. Maybe Schiavone can nick a few games and we can get a good price on Henin, but I expect this will be a 'no bet' match.

Ivanovic to beat Dementieva @ 1.6+ - Ana managed to bagel Vaidisova today, I wouldn't rule out a repeat tomorrow with Dementieva...she's in good nick and Ana should win this 2-0 unless she has a nightmare.

Kuznetsova to beat Mauresmo @ 1.5 - similar to Chakvetadze but much much worse mentally...Mauresmo is a complete wreck at the moment, any top 100 player should really fancy their chances against her right now. Kuznetsova should win this 2-0...only danger is that Mauresmo's two wins in this tournament might give her some confidence (mainly thanks to opposition not taking advantage of opportunities).

But Kuz looked good today so I'd be surprised if she didnt win comfortably.

Bolelli to beat O. Rochus @ 2.04, I don't see any reason why Oli should be the fave here, imo it should be the other way round, Bolelli has picked up two impressive straight sets wins here in particular beating local hero Cilic yesterday while Rochus benefitted from Santoro throwing in the towel in round 1 and beat Koubek in round 2. I really don't rate that win though as Koubek looked terrible in his first round match and was probably disinterested in this event. Bolelli unlike some of his compatriots is no mug on the faster surfaces, he's a rising star of Italian tennis and this is a golden opportunity for him to reach his 1st ATP semi which he should clinch. GL.

Hi guys,
following picks for today:

WTA TOUR, MORGAN KEEGAN, MEMPHIS
ERAKOVIC TO D KUDRYAVTSEVA @ 1.67 at Stan James
Erakovic had very solid results in the last 6 months, has a better attacking game while Kudryavtseva has been out of form this year.

Titan I agree with you on all of those games but i'm concerned about the head to head between Jankovic and Chak with Chak leading 6-2 with 1 of those 2 being through retirement and the other on grass.

of the 4 hard court games, 3 went to 3 sets while one ended in retirement. 1 of those was indoor, the others outdoor.

I definately see a 3 setter either way.
