A star-studded line-up here, obviously the Murray vs Federer showdown tomorrow will be a great spectacle, can only see a win for FedEx though, although might wait and back in-play on the off-chance that he's a bit rusty.
Also interested by Ferrer vs Haas - both quite similar players and I really rate Ferrer, but does anybody else think that he's a bit short at 1.4?
Also a few other interesting ones I'll probably look to back in-play for better odds...Roddick to beat Ferrero at 1.35+ should really only have one winner.
Feliciano Lopez to beat Tipsarevic @ 2.1 might also be decent.
Keen to hear everyone's thoughts. _________________ www.priceform.com

A-Rod should beat Fererro comfortably, he leads the H2H 3-0 although theyve not played for a while. Roddick doesnt seem to be too hot at the moment though so I do have a slight nagging doubt over backing him tomorrow
Federer I fully expect to overturn Murray in straight sets, currently 1.55+ which is good in my opinion. Federer loves this event and I dont foresee much rustiness. _________________ The only dedicated snooker betting blog on OLBG! -> Click here |

Tursunov to beat Gasquet @ 2.74, Gasquet is so mentally weak that on a bad day he is capable of losing to almost anyone. Tursunov has beaten him twice before and once already this year at Sydney, in fact all the players Gasquet has lost to this year so far have been big hitters (Tsonga, Soderling, Tursunov) I think this is probably because despite all his obvious talent he is too defensive and lets them take the initiative, and with that huge swing he needs on his backhand he is forced back waaaay behind the baseline, where, however good a shot his backhand is, it becomes harmless. If Gasquet tries to play too defensively again and Tursunov keeps his head together, the Russian wins imo.
Also backing some big underdogs at small stakes only:
Murray to beat Federer @ 4.50, purely a speculative one, if Federer is at all rusty then this will be a very difficult match for him. Murray with his usual change of pace and spins will give him no rhythm at all to get into his stride, and also he is an excellent returner and should take note of how someone with a fairly similar returning style, Nalbandian, destroys Fed's 2nd serve by taking it really early and giving it the full treatment. Of course if Fed is ok, he wins this in 2, like I said just a speculative one at small stakes.
Santoro to beat Youzhny @ 4.90, just hoping for a bit of magic from the Magician in what should be his last appearance at an event he likes and has won in the past and although he retired from Zagreb, people watching told me he didn't look injured so perhaps he was already thinking about coming here. But it's safer to take this bet with a bookie that voids retirements.
J. Minar to beat Andreev @ 5.00, Andreev just flown here on the back of a tour of the latinamerican clay season where he was very disappointing, he is having a poor season so far and the sudden change of surface is never easy. Minar won a couple of qualies matches already so he is well acclimatised to the surroundings here but this is mainly a fade of Andreev who can lose to anyone when he turns into a UE machine (which has been very often so far this year).

| And in sin city tonight, Tojo as the underdog against Canas looks a great bet. Canas has only played two matches after a long injury break and they were both on clay, I do not see why he is the fave here at all. |

Hi guys,
following picks for today:
ATP TOUR, DUBAI
FERRER TO D HAAS @ 1.44 at Betfair
Haas is struggling with his form after missing Australian Open. Ferrer should be too solid for him from the baseline.
ATP TOUR, DUBAI
MALISSE TO D GINEPRI @ 2.31 at Pinnacle
No reason to why Ginepri should be a favorite. He is unable to reproduce his 2005-06 form when he was one of the best players on US hard courts. Malisse has good game to force Ginepri into errors. H2H 1:0 to Malisse who won comfortably.

Haas to defeat Ferrer
ferrer only played rotterdam since oz with a unconvincing win against bolelli followed by a poor defeat from zverev, he will however of had good prep time in the heat of dubai and will be well acustomed to the courts by now but has had an easy start to the year. so haas seams like value hear to me, he should be in better match shape, he generally performs better agaisnt the 'the big boys' than the lower minions where he can throw up some random results,i think this will be close but for me come on tommy! |

nameless one - fantastic call on santoro, great start to the day
I also agree with your Johansson shout, I don't see why he shouldn't be heavy odds-on against Canas. _________________ www.priceform.com

becker v kiefer - becker
kiefer hsnt played since he was punished by juan-ca in oz, but he will be fresh where as becker has played every torny posible i dont feel he has the weaponry to hurt keifer but if he keeps the errors down, he might just nip this.
canas v johansson - canas
not much in this with canas coming back from injury but he looked injury free in mexico, if a little green, tj will be grinded out. |

| Murray must have a great chance of winning this now after knocking out the world number 1. |

having a few pennies on david ferrer outright now, main thing putting me off before was federer in his half of the draw, but obviously everything has opened up completely now.
Murray played very well today but didn't need to do anything special during the rallies - Federer made loads of UE's and looked totally rusty. Murray's first serve was the key to victory - 91% of first serve points won and a fair few aces to boot. _________________ www.priceform.com
