Today I have to go with Kohlschreiber to beat Nadal @ 3.75, Nadal's hardcourt game has actually regressed since he won this event 2 years ago, and he often looks completely lost on this surface when playing a decent opponent. So until he shows me otherwise, I have to continue to bet against him on hard when he faces such a talented player and at such odds. Kohlschreiber has been in good shape this year and clearly has the weaponry to outplay Rafa, but Nadal in the past has won these kinds of matches on fighting spirit alone, you really have to take the opportunities you get to put him away when you can. But the mental department is one of the areas Kohli has really improved in, he remained ice cool in the Roddick match at the AO despite the Texan's loud-mouthed antics, and that final game where he didn't let all those MPs saved by Roddick aces frustrate him showed tremendous mental resolve. He has everything to reach the next level (top 20) and just needs another big confidence-boosting win to prove he can beat the best, I'm hoping that will come today.
GL everyone.

As usual Nadal wins despite being outplayed most the match Lose If Philipp had taken one of those 3 break points early in the 2nd it would have been a different story but oh well.

unlucky nameless one, was really looking a brilliant shout for a while, he really needed to win that 2-0 as it was unlikely he'd be able to keep that up in the 3rd set. Amazing how Nadal just grinds out wins, he wasn't 100% today but still managed to win somehow. Kohlschreiber definitely one to look out for at Wimbledon and the US Open especially. Hope you got some good green on it though Win

Quite confident in a Roddick win at 1.42 against Ferrero, he has a 3-0 H2H and I'd be surprised to see Ferrero get a set out of this.

Also think that Djokovic is worth a Lay against Cilic to start off with at least - we've seen Nadal and Federer struggle already, more of a hunch than anything else but Cilic is hugely talented and can give Djokovic some trouble here.

Hi guys,
following pick for today:

ATP TOUR, LAS VEGAS
DELIC TO D STARACE @ 1.7 at expect
Starace is a typical clay court player. Delic has a lot of solid results
on US hard courts and good attacking game to attack a weak Starace's
backhand.

great game between Ferrer and Rochus, Ferrer really struggling in the first set then getting broken in the second and hitting over 5/1 before breaking twice and winning the set. very evenly poised game and a great trader with both players matched at 6.0 and some real swings in prices.

must surely be a better game than teh murray v verdasco one which was just one unforced error after another.

this Russian Ledovskikh is looking pretty good against Nadal, could be one for the future, a very good serve when he gets it right and he's holding his own in the rally's.

murray was pretty pathetic today, his body language was very poor and it was as if he had won the tournament already. He really under-estimated Verdasco and it's a point he'll have to improve on if he wants to go further in the game.

at one point it looked like a monumental 1.01 gubbing in the tie break which would have been just desserts for him!

my bet of the day is roddick to beat PHM @ 1.37ish, lowish odds but really should be a banker, roddick has been fantastic in the last couple of weeks and looks in great form. Should go far in this tourney. Might also dabble in 2-0.

Nadal to beat Roddick @ 1.71, even though he's not at his best I think Nadal should win this one. Roddick is actually even more passive than Nadal these days, he was standing way behind the baseline against Mathieu yesterday and getting outplayed in almost every rally, only his serve and some poor errors from Mathieu made it so easy for him. Well if Mathieu is able to dominate him from the baseline, I don't see why Rafa can't, apart from his serve I really believe Roddick is an average player. As long as Nadal can get back enough serves into play this should be a straightforward win like their meeting at Indian Wells last year.

Davydenko to beat Murray @ 2.66, smaller stakes on this one because I don't have much faith in Davy anymore and his form hasn't been great this year, but with reports of Murray's injury and after his poor performance against Verdasco I think Davy is worth backing as the underdog here. If Murray plays like he did yesterday again and Davy plays a consistent match, the Russian will win imo.

GL all Win

Hi guys,
following pick for today:

ATP TOUR, DUBAI
MURRAY TO D DAVYDENKO @ 1.63 at Expekt
Murray has won 3 last matches vs. Davydenko without losing a set. In my opinion, Davydenko simply uses wrong tactics against Murray by playing too aggressive, going for too much and making too many errors as a result. Murray's defensive game is just too good for that.

I like the look of Murray based on the stat from jbsouz, probably got Davy's gameplan worked out if he has taken 6 sets in a row from him. All on hard court as well, one thing I like about Murray is that his second set always seems to be very strong, he can usually thrash the opponent in his second set, and I think that WilliamHill's offer of Murray -2.5 games @ 5/6 is very tempting, I wouldn't be surprised if he covered that in just the second set alone Fingers Crossed

some very tasty matches today Smile

Ferrer to beat Lopez @ 1.55 - Ferrer seemed to start really poorly yesterday against Rochus but showed his fighting qualities by coming from a set and a break down. Should be a tight match, can see this going to 3 sets but I still fancy a Ferrer win.

Murray to beat Davydenko @ 1.64 - Murray was absolutely awful yesterday but I think that he will be up for this match, his record against Davydenko is excellent and he won't be complacent against a top player.

Nadal vs Roddick is really a 50/50 match for me, so I'll take the value with a small punt on Roddick at odds-against, he wasn't in top form yesterday but still won comfortably, if he gets his serve going like he did against Ferrero, he should trade lower at least.

Djokovic to beat Andreev - odds are low but I can't see anything other than a comfortable win.

today I fancy Lopez to beat Davydenko, I think he's decent value, in decent nick and should trade lower.
