I fancy Andreev strongly to turn in a big performance and knock Davydenko over. 7/4 is available and I would be inclined to take that price. Probably 2pts, maybe 2.5.
The surface suits the game of Andreev - he put out a clay court natural in Almagro and also prevailed albeit with the aid of injury against countryman Mikael Youzhny.
It will be a high quality match up I think (and hope!). Cheeky

Forget that nosense about high quality. Both men have served abysmally - it's 3-3 in the decider at present and I am fed up of seeing serve broken! It's like watching the average Tommy Robredo match!

I think I may stand a chance against either of them.

Very clever
Davydenko wiped him 6-3 1st set and then threw up balls onto Andreev's strong side- the forehand
Lost the 2nd set and went 3-1 down in the 3rd after 50 unforced errors
So now he's 3.5 and pulls himself together to level at 5-5 and then takes the last 2 games to win 7-5
Who's kidding who here ? I lost count of the service breaks
Lucky I only ever back him to win 2 sets to 1

Marathon man Davydenko into Monte Carlo tennis semi-finals
Russian fourth seed Nikolay Davydenko reached his fifth semi-final of 2008 with a gruelling 6-3, 4-6, 7-5 victory over Davis Cup teammate Igor Andreev in the last eight of the Monte Carlo Masters on Friday.

Davydenko, who has already won the Miami Masters title this season, will now take on either triple defending champion Rafael Nadal or David Ferrer for a place in Sunday's final.

But his 2hr 45min win on Friday was desperately mediocre with both players plagued by errors; in the second set alone there were seven breaks of serve in 10 games.

Davydenko recovered from falling 1-3 down in the opening set before breaking his 24-year-old opponent in the fifth and seventh games.

After their woeful second set, Andreev was soon ahead again at 3-1 in the decider before Davydenko had the opportunity to serve out the match in the ninth game.

But Andreev secured the 14th break of the quarter-final to go to 4-5 and then wasted two break points in the 11th before Davydenko broke again in the 12th to claim victory.

In a brutal summary of the tie, Davydenko sent down 61 unforced errors to Andreev's 54.

What a Charade Lose
