anyone know what price serina hit before losing?
i went out when she was 3-1 up and looking like hammering safina so amazed she's gone out. she was 1.1 then so imagine she was even lower after a 6-2 set win.
lots of heavy favourites going out this week so a rare chance to win outright with these lays. |

I know the price is higher but doesy anyone think Djokovic is worth laying for the same reasons as Federer?
Didnt look entirely comfortable against Andreev. |

This thread is/was about making a profitable scenario from short priced favs rather than tennis trading as a whole. On its own there is not a massive profit to be had I accept, it is just one (possible) technique/method/theory.
In general there are massive price swings in tennis.
The real trading is done on players at much bigger odds, but you have to know the players and be confident that the price will swing your way.
I too trade on the over/under 2.5. The problem with your scenario, is what happens if Palace had scored within the first 10 minutes?
Then Bristol equalize after about 15-20 mins? |

not going to happen!! i know football well enough to know when there will be early goals and when there wont
obviously i dont get every game right (noone does) but i get over 80% right |
IMO you'd be better off backing in the 'time of first goal' markets, much better value and less hassle
i think you'll realise how difficult trading unders is when you get a game which has 3 goals in the first 10 mins...trust me, one will come along soon _________________ Corner vulture

As I say, I have done exactly the same thing as you. It went well for a while.......
It only takes 1 mistake to change the course of a game.
Having said that, I do think you can make the Overs/unders pay. Just be very careful not to get carried away with your staking. |

trader1204 - why not start a blog and show us how easy it is. I am one of those who have tried it and been stung.
Over-confident statements like "early goals are not going to happen" show that you've not been stung yet, but it will happen. Probably just as soon as you start staking over-confidently.
Good luck though. |
