I was wondering, i put an accumulator on tennis and football today, and in it i had the

Calleri vs El Ayanoui , of which the later retired before the start of the mtach

i backed Calleri, does it count as a win?

No i dont think so although there maybe different rules from different bookies

my bookie refunds the stake

Depends on the bookie.

As far as accas go, it just gets removed from the acca, for example a 6 way acca becomes a 5 way acca with the remaining selections.

In my experience, hills void the match while as long as 1 point is played Ladbrokes will state the non-retired player as the winner
