Wimbledon 2009: 22 June - 5 July
A lot of members asked for a dedicated Wimbledon Tipster Comp and we have a beauty for all tennis experts and also those once a year tennis fans who just watch Wimbledon.
You make tennis tips throughout the Wimbledon tournament via the OLBG tipping competition, NOT ON THE FORUM, subject to your OLBG tipping balance. The winner will be the tipster with the best level stake profit at the end of Wimbledon.
This will includes bets made on the overall markets placed in advance.
Only winning tips with good tip comments are counted (all losing tips are counted).

Good stuff, looking forward to this. Shame it wasnt in place for the French Open though  
Hopefully "good tip comments" doesnt include comments like the "This player is better therefore will win" or "easy win here for this player as hes scottish like me lol" that has plagued previous comps

Looking forward to Wimbledon and to see that a Tipster comp is running makes it very interesting 
De Brito's been given a wilcard Betking and so has Laura Robson

Once again the OLBG team come up with a good system to reward members for there dedication and enjoy the sport of tennis at Wimbledon, lets hope now the weather shines like the big ball in the sky shines on this SITE.

How exactly will the tipping balance go? does everyone get a set amount for Wimbledon?
Surely if it is the normal monthly balance, then some people will have a healthier balance that others at the start.

I can't speak for Nors but the other comps (horse racing) are run on lsp with extra daily top ups

It will be settled on LSP but Im not sure there'll be extra top ups. Cant remember last year...

No top ups for Wimbledon
You'll get some top ups for Ascot - so try not to lose all of those!!
Wimbledon lasts longer so even if you lose everything before it starts you will be able to place over 10 tips with your 100 a day top ups. |

I am a relative Tennis novice, but with all the great links and resources available in the Tennis Forum, I will give it a go.

P.s. Is there a booby prize that I am likely to win? 
Maybe a signed photo of The Shark wearing something from the Maria Sharapova fashion range.
