Just a quick question guys im looking too make tennis tipping one off my main areas now and what a better time too start than Wimbledon but if i were too do a bet Each Way on a tournament does my selection have too be runner up for me too get payed on a place!

Yes. Each Way outright market bets pay out to 2 places, so only when your selection makes the final Smile

I am not a tennis betting expert, but when I looked the other day the place terms were 1/2 odds 1 of 2.

so I guess your selection must be either winner or runner up.

Thats cool 1/2 odds seems fair because im thinking Dementieva is the value in the womans event, i dont know if ye have a fancy on it or not but she is no 25/1 shot!

Other option is to back a player to win their quarter - ie make the semis.

So if you dont like 1/2 the odds on Dementieva making the final, you could back her win only and then back her to win her quarter.

Or even back her Each Way 1,2 and then another bet on qinning the quarter.

At the moment just SkyBet seem to have odds on the third quarter, for which she is 15/8
