I tend to agree with the Hendry/Higgins draw @ 3 (2/1). It will be a close match, but I feel Hendry is in good form, and may well sneak it, so I'll also be covering Hendry to win 4-2 @ 3.75 (11/4).
If Ronnie plays like he did last week, and White plays like he did the week before, we could be looking at a 6-0 whitewash for Ronnie. I'm not convinced we will see that, but I'm confident Ronnie will cruise to a 4-0 lead again, like he did against Steve Davis. David was in good form pror to that match, whereas Jimmy isn't. He was poor in his previous match, and to me it was a miracle he managed to win 2 frames in that defeat. Ronnie may then sit back and relax with the win in the bag, which may allow Jimmy to avoid a whitewash. Ronnie to win @ 1.4 (2/5) is bigger than I expected, but I particularly like the look of Ronnie to win the first 4 frames @ 4.33 (10/3) |

The results from 2 weeks ago were Hendry beat Higgins 4-2 & O'Sullivan beat White 6-0. One frame out on each again for me but great tipping from betking
This Thursday they are in Peterborough and its Hendry v Davis & Robertson v Junhui.
Steve Davis has beaten Hendry in their last 2 meetings (5-1 Prem 06) (9-6 UK S/F 05) but before that its been pretty much all Hendry.
Both players have played well in this league so far, although Hendry drew with Jimmy White he has beaten Higgins, Robertson and O'Sullivan and he is top of the league, so it looks a good time to back Hendry. Prediction Hendry 4-2
Ding and Robertson have met once before that was in the Quarter final of the UK 2005 Ding won 9-5.
Robertson has played 3 matches he has drawn 1 and lost 2. In the 6 frames he has won his highest break has been 69. So is he still struggling with the shot clock?
Ding has only played 2 matches he drew with Jimmy White and beat Ronnie 4-2. In the 7 frames he has won he has made breaks of 97, 137,138, 66, 62 & 103 so clearly enjoys the format of the Premier league.
So for me in this match it has to be Ding. Prediction Ding 4-2 |

Cheers betking, I do get lucky sometimes
Last weeks results were Hendry beat Davis 4-2 and Ding beat Robertson 4-2.
This week they are in Guildford and the matches are Jimmy White v John Higgins & Steve Davis v Ding Junhui.
Higgins has only played 3 matches so far and is bottom of the league, so should be looking for some big wins to get himself back in contention. Jimmy lost last week in the Nortern Ireland Trophy Qualifiers 5-0 to Xiao Guodong, so could be very low in confidence. Prediction Higgins 5-1
Davis has played 4 matches so far and all have ended 4-2, he has won 2 and lost 2. Ding has only played 3 matches and has won 2 and drawn 1, I mentioned before the breaks he has made in the frames he has won, well he added some more last week with breaks of 103,115,73 and 133 against Robertson. Although Davis has been playing well this season, the scoring from Ding has been amazing and if he gets on a roll again this week he could get a big result here. Prediction Ding 5-1 |

Have to agree with Rads here, can't see past Higgins and Ding both winning tomorrow night. Both are priced short @ 1.53 (8/15) but both look very strong bets, personally I'm taking them in a double which pays 2.35 (11/8).
I'm going to leave the frame betting market alone though. Higgins could easily thrash Jimmy White 6-0, but Jimmy will be determined not to suffer a 3rd whitewash in recent weeks, so he could sneak a frame. As for Ding, the way hes been knocking in huge breaks with ease suggests he could also nail a 6-0 win, but with Davis inform it could just as easily be 4-2. I just feel its too close to call this week. _________________ Red Bull gives you wings.

Results from last night were Ding beat Davis 6-0 & Higgins beat White 4-2.
Nice double there betking
Yeah, the frame betting is very tricky and although I predict the score, I only back the result of the match.
No play next week as they are in Belfast for the Northern Ireland Trophy. |

Looking forward to the Northern Ireland Trophy, I'll start a thread later if no one else has beaten me to it.
Higgins certainly made hard work of his win last night though, forgetting about the shot clock and missing straightforward pots. He's lucky he was facing a woeful Jimmy White or that couldve ended up very differently last night!
I was on Hendry to win outright, but I'm now on Ding as well. The way he is performing is amazing. Hes knocking in centuries as easy as you like, he really seems to have taken to this format and in this form I'd back him to beat anyone. _________________ Red Bull gives you wings.

Hi topnotch
This week they are in Kidderminster and its John Higgins v Ding Junhui & Ronnie O'Sullivan v Neil Robertson.
My 1st thoughts were comfortable wins for Ronnie + Ding, but a closer look and it is quite tricky this week.
Here is the table as it stands
Hendry W 4 D 1 L 0 PTS 9
Ding W 3 D 1 L 0 PTS 7
Ronnie W 3 D 0 L 2 PTS 6
Davis W 2 D 0 L 2 PTS 4
White W 0 D 3 L 2 PTS 3
Higgins W 0 D 2 L 2 PTS 2
Robertson W 0 D 1 L 3 PTS 1
next week (last matches)
Jimmy White v Neil Robertson
Stephen Hendry v Ding Junhui
Steve Davis v John Higgins
After all the matches are complete the top 4 qualify for the semis, Hendry and Ding are through and also so is Ronnie O'Sullivan as Higgins and Davis have to play each other next week, so they both can't pass O'Sullivan.
The tricky part is who will get the 4th spot? It so complicated Davis, White, Higgins or even Robertson could still get through.
No pressure on Ding V Higgins who if wins this match will fancy beating Davis next week to qualify for the semis. Head to Heads are 1-0 to Ding in the Northern Ireland Trophy last year he beat Higgins 5-3. I think we will see a big effort from Higgins this week, but the way Ding has been playing in this I'm not sure it will be enough to win so Prediction 3-3 Draw
Similar to the above match, no pressure on O'Sullivan V Robertson who if and its a BIG IF wins this match and beats Jimmy White next week could if other results go his way still get through. Ronnie last week in the Northern Ireland Trophy against Ali Carter in the 2nd round made 4 centuries and a 147 to win 5-2, but then lost his next match to Fergal O'Brien. Head to Heads are 2-2. I must admit the 4/5 with Betfred does look tempting and it may prove to be but I'm not convinced enough on Ronnie this week so Prediction 3-3 Draw
Thats just my thoughts.
betking or anybody else, any thoughts? |

I was 95% through a long write up, then Firefox closed itself and I lost it all I've spent the last 20 minutes typing it (yes I'm a slow typer!) so I'm not redoing it now, but my tips followed by a (very) shortened write up -
O'Sullivan @ 1.66 (4/6)
O'Sullivan 4-2 @ 2.87 (15/8)
Ding @ 2.25 (5/4)
Ding 4-2 @ 3.25 (9/4)
O'Sullivan 4-2 and Ding 4-2 Double @ 9.33 (Over 8/1)
Although Robertson and Higgins must win, and I expect a good show from them, I cant see them overturning the 2 players who thrive on this format. Higgins is out of form, and struggled in the end to put Jimmy White away in his last match, whereas Robertson's break building was poor last week, and he still struggles with the shotclock. He also has personal problems, so I'm happy to go against him. 4-2 to Ronnie and Ding looks a likely scoreline, and the double pays very mouthwatering odds. _________________ Red Bull gives you wings.
