| Agreed. I managed to take Fu @4.50 when he was 2-0 down. Back in it at two apiece now so hopefully he can bring it home. |

Nice one Richard I topped up at around 4.10, traders Paradise Poker that match...or was it nightmare?
What a match. Standards slipped in the final few frames, but THAT was good viewing....even if I was concerned Fu had let it slip
I'll post my thoughts on tomorrows game when Ive calmed down a bit! |

A true Fu Fighter! Great match to trade on but for some reason Alan Shearer and Harry Redknapp turned up on my actual book on Betfair! _________________ Positions now available in OLBG Lottery syndicate. 28 lines in each draw dramatically increases chances of a jackpot. Please PM me for info. |

Ok, so tomorrow's games then.... (Dott/Lee thoughts to come tomorrow afternoon)
Ding/Higgins
Ding reached the final here last year, where he was crushed 10-3 by a rampant Ronnie, so will this play on his mind? This is without mentioning the abuse he suffered from one member of the audience, hopefully theres no repeat, but will it affect him, even if only subconsciously?
Ive read a lot of peoples views on this match, and the majority are expecting a win for Ding. Straightforward really, Higgins is woefully out of form, whereas Ding has looked good this season.
So therefore my pick to win is John Higgins. Not to be different, or to go against the crowd, but because I genuinely feel he'll win.
Ding had a superb Premier League season, the format really suits him. I could reel off a list of stats of how good he was. But despite how good he was (beating Ronnie along the way, in what is effectively "Ronnie's league), he suffered 2 defeats. One defeat in the group/league stage, and the other in the semi final. Both times he lost to a player that had struggled with the shot clock rules of the league, and a player who during the league, had looked pretty poor. That player was John Higgins.
You could write them off, as Ding was unlucky in both matches at times. But despite this, I look at it this way - If Ding cant beat Higgins when conditions are in his favour, how can he beat them under conditions that favour Higgins?
Make no mistake, I'm not expecting Higgins to roll over Ding, far from it. But I do expect him to trade lower than the 2.00 currently available.
For me, Ding seems to suffer a mental block on the "regular" circuit when playing the top players (O'Sullivan, Higgins) although he did push Shaun Murphy all the way recently in a 9-7 loss.
However like I mentioned, Higgins form has been poor, but he'll be keen to put that right. No ranking points available, but he'll be looking to re-assert himself as the #1.
In many ways this is harder to call than Doherty/Williams and Dott/Lee. It should be good for trading, but on the outright from the start, I'm taking Higgins @ 2.00 |

I second what Dammo said, "greater than 25" is 26 or more.
Higgins/Ding was a great match, good for trading, at 3-1 down I though Ding would give up, but credit to him, he dug deep. Although Ding had a lot of luck in the final few frames, whereas Higgins the opposite.
Kinda weird, I backed Ding twice against Higgins in the Premier League, and lost, I back Higgins to beat Ding in a regular tournament and lose! |

Cant believe Maguire threw away a 5-3 lead and lost 6-5 to Selby, very disappointing |

Were u on them both from the start bk or did u just back them when they were up? Luckily they both went my way, altho was a bit higgledy-piggledy for a few frames! _________________ Positions now available in OLBG Lottery syndicate. 28 lines in each draw dramatically increases chances of a jackpot. I backed them both in a double, and both as singles. I traded some out on Maguire when he dropped to around 1.1 or so (I think), and then watched him throw it away. Similar story for the Murphy/Doherty match. I wouldnt be that bothered if they were both outplayed for the match, but they weren't, and to have big leads and lose, as well as I actually contemplated backing both Selby and DOherty to win 6-5 as cover, but didnt.....
I really fancy Fu to beat Ding tomorrow, and Ebdon to beat Lee, but after today I may just give it a miss! |

Lee to beat Ebdon
Ive gone for another upset here. Lee has arguably the best cueing action in the game, and it baffles me why he hasnt been battlingfor titles in his career. Lee got a good win over Dott earlier in the week, coming back from an early deficit. ebdon is mr steady and will punish Lee for any mistakes, but im confident Lee can cause the upset.
Fu to beat Ding
Even with his excelant win over Higgins, Ding is still short of confidence and not playing his best, whereas Fu is playing the best snooker hes ever done. these are very nice odds for Fu, and i fancy an upset here. |
