I'm not sure there was odds on there being 2 maximums or more from the start, but after Ronnie made his yesterday the odds on another one was 9/4.
Not sure what the odds of another now would be, about the same I should think.
I wonder if O'Sullivan makes another one if he gets 2/3's of the prize money, should do I suppose
Superb Championships so far! |

i would still fancy p.ebdon tomorrow. Paddy Power has ebdon [+1 1/2 ]
11/8 which i still think is a good bet.

Ebdon shouldve been back in this today, he shouldve won 2, maybe 3 of the first 4 frames, rather than facing an uphill battle.
The only thing Ebdon backers can do is hope for (another) Carter choke!
Edit - Oh well. |

Considering Maguire was a 1.23 shot, compared to Perry at 4.6, shows how wrong it was. Maguire has stuttered at times, Perry has over-performed.
This will either be a very scrappy frame, or someone will grab a century to win.
I predict Maguire on a respotted black |

Perry pulls through, 13-12. Great match, Maguire let the pressure get to him.
What has happened this year? The 3 form players (Murphy, Maguire, Selby) all out before the semis, Ronnie is up and down, Ding is out. Plenty of shocks.
O'Sullivan vs Hendry and Perry vs Carter in the semis.
Personally I'd like to see a Hendry vs Perry final. |

I think im not the only one here supporting Hendry today? what a piece of history it would be if he can go onto win it.
I think Hendry is overpriced at 5/2 and has every chance of winning today,Ronnie is a world class player but i think its fair to say even tho hes made a 147 hes not been at his very best in this tournament whereas Hendry has looked like his old self. _________________ 2nd Overall Copa America Challenge 2007 |

its fair to say there is no love lost between o`sullivan and hendry and that should add further spice to todays encounter.i am in o`sullivans camp for todays match but if hendry can get of to a good start and o`sullivans head starts to wander [ which can always happen with ronnie ] hendry will be ready to pounce
be lucky |

I've always liked to side with players who win a decider in their last round so Joe Perry for me today, 2.22 is a great price, McGuire is a big scalp in anyones books and it was a very gutsy performance to sneak through, it could be just the boost to spur him on to victory as well.
Have to agree with the Hendry call as well, has looked great since sneaking through the first round 10-9, Ding and Day are two great players and he definately has the chance here. Apart from his 147, Ronnie has made some glaring errors in his game so far, whilst Hendry looks back to his best and is enjoying his snooker, definately shouldn't be the price he is to win here, and definately one who could spring up a surprise on his day. Definately worth a little punt imho. _________________ Top Football Tipster June 2006
