Guys have to disagree with the ref comments from france match. He helped the game by penalising both sides at the breakdown, france showed great discipline not giving away a penalty in last 10mins as New Zealand where looking for it.
As for the Yellow Card how can you say it wasnt deserved, the kick was well measured and had the two kiwis not stepped into block a try was on and it was cynical. _________________ Check out my Euro 2008 preview

the ref was unduly pedantic in favour of the french throughout. the obstruction that led to the sin binning was replicated equally as cynically by the french in the second half however he waved play on. the last french try had 2 blatant forward passes, however neither were spotted. hats off to the french, ain't bitter lol but i would lke to have seen the best exponents of the game progress, rather than the customary kick and clap rubbish. _________________ top rugby tipster april 2007 |

further, in the last 10 minutes, all blacks weren't looking for a penalty but a try. for some silly reason they never thought to go for a drop goal despite the field position until the 79th minute. that, amongst other bizarre decisions and faffing about cost them. to be fair to them, at least scoring tries from open play was their mindset, even when staring defeat in the face. i admit that it turned out to be daft but that is what rugby was supposed to be about. _________________ top rugby tipster april 2007 |

Yeah I dont know why NZ never went for a late dropgoal either, very strange.
But the incorrect yellow card, coupled with the French forward passes completed a bad night for the referee. _________________ The only dedicated snooker betting blog on OLBG! -> Click here |
