|

On Betfair at the moment some one is offering evens £198 for Warrington to make the play-offs.
With Saints putting a full vertual full squad out.
Inital 20 man squad.
(1. Paul Wellens, 2. Ade Gardner, 3. Matt Gidley, 4. Willie Talau, 5. Francis Meli, 6. Leon Pryce, 7. Sean Long, 8. Nick Fozzard, 9. Keiron Cunningham, 10. Jason Cayless, 11. Lee Gilmour, 12. Jon Wilkin, 14. James Roby, 15. Mike Bennett, 17. James Graham, 18. Bryn Hargreaves, 22. Paul Clough, 23. Maurie Fa’asavalu, 24. Ste Tyrer, 30. Chris Flannery.)
Any 17 from that lot can beat anyone.
Wigan don`t stand a chance.
Warrington only need to beat Salford and they are in.
I know they have lots of injuries and suspension at the moment,
But surly they can beat salford after the performance they showed on Friday.
Pity I am skint but if you lot want a go good luck
Any thoughts? |

Hirisk - Wigan v St Helens is a big local derby and always played with so much passion,Wigan are on good form at the moment so i wouldent quite say they dont stand a chance.
Remember Saints dont need to win the game as they have already secured first place in the table so this is not a must win game for them whereas Wigan need the win badly to finish in the top 6 so they will give absolutely everything to get the win. |

I dont kow if they'll make it, but Warrington -2 against Salford looks a good bet. I know they have injuries, but am I missing something else? _________________ The only dedicated snooker betting blog on OLBG! -> CLick here |

| Don't think Wolves will make it. Always been massive under-achievers |

Thanks for replys.
Saints as you say don`t need to win and Wigan do.
This is such a massive derby, Wigan have lost the last 8 or 9 I think.
But Saints will not want to lose.
They would love to keep them out of the play offs for the 3rd year on the run.
The fans would love it
Saints also have a 2 week break after this so I think they will go all out to win
in front of the 8000+ fans that will travel to see them.
I agree with you about Warrinton being under achievers Roger |

i think salford will beat warrington to be honest. wolves were running low on numbers to begin with and now parker has fractured a cheekbone and morley is out.
wigan are in good form and the derbies between these two are getting closer and closer. the last one at knowlseley road saw saints win by only nine points and looked like a bit of a struggle. wigan are in much better form, and this one could be a very cloes game. _________________ top rugby tipster april 2007 |

Sean Long and Fozzard have both been withdrawn due to injury,2 big blows for St Helens there so all the more reason to back Wigan to finish in the top 6 |

Saints have been in full control for all the derbys this year and with a team and record like the ones above I see no reason why it should change.
Warrington are Warrington though.
Should win but thats the gamble. |
