great britain 4/11, and -8 at 10/11 last week's opening test showed lots of potential. the probable return of sinfield, maguire and yeaman will be a bonus as will the workout last week. given the players have had a week's preperation they should be flowing and thus should be able to take more chances than they did last time out, as in fairness they were about 18 points better than the visitors. it seems the kiwi admin are looking for excuses already, last week they were 'shocked' that morley was passed to play, this week it is burgess' clearance (which, although he was outstanding, was a little lucky to go unpunished for almost decapitating moimoi) which they are focusing on rather than their short comings. i think the lions will be stronger for the game last week, and the kiwis are already shuffling the pack due to possible injuries to toupou and others. their replacements in bradford's toopi and lima from the storm are very able though it has to be said. the biggest plus for the lions last week was from quick play the ball and good attacking line which looked quite organised, kiwis couldn't cope with the runners from dummy half, and lots of chances were created. kiwis were obviously more powerful in the forwards but this has the disadvantage of tiring quicker so the likes of roby and pryce can see the gaps opening, especially given the ferocity of our defence. this week im confident they will be more ruthless and can only get better. i am surprised the handicap is the same as last week, i thought it would be increased following that display, and as such is a stonking bet. _________________ top rugby tipster april 2007 |

I think Britain will smash the -8 handicap to be honest, last week we saw a good performance from Britain but we were lazy at times at the start and towards the end of the game where NZ scored most of their points.
I was dissapointed Britain didn't beat the handicap last week but im very confident they will win by more than 8 points tomorrow
PS.it will be great to watch sam burgess smash moimoi over the park again _________________ 2nd Overall Copa America Challenge 2007 |
