I know there are a few tips in the world club challenge section but thought id give the round its own thread... Ill be looking at the other games later on but heres my view on todays match...
18:00 Wigan v Bradford
Bradford+2.0 (Hcap With Tie) @ 2
A close one to call but Bradford welcome back Tadulala, Feather, Tupou and Jeffries into there 18 man squad... They have not made the best start to the campaign but havnt been playing so bad either and they will be looking to get back to winning ways... Wigan have been lack luster for me, they beat Harlequins away from home who gave them a scare then turned out rather disappointingly at home to Castleford before being turned over at Hull in a game they should have won with Hulls injury problems currently... I just feel Bradford will edge this one... |

I posted my tips on the Leeds v Melbourne thread
WF5Army-Bradford are without Terry Newton today which is a huge blow for us so we may be a little flat and find it hard to get over the try line at times. _________________ 2nd Overall Copa America Challenge 2007 |

ive seen your tips mate - some good points raised - i saw Newton was missing and it looks like youve missed him tho i aint seen the match yet ?? Its looking like your struggling a little with the half back pairings and combinations at the mo ??...
15:30 Castleford v Harlequins RL
Castleford+6.0 (Hcap With Tie) @ 1.9
Castleford+0.0 (Match Result) @ 2.62
Im gonna go with Castleford for this one as they welecome back some key players in Scott Moore and Brent Sherwin... They are not exactly blessed with talent but for me, neither are Harlequins who have had a little luck with them so far this yr - Scott Hill is missing and his leadership will be missed... With a vocal home crowd, i think Cas will edge this one...
15:00 Huddersfield v Hull FC
Huddersfield-6.0 (Hcap With Tie) @ 1.9
Hull are still strugglng with injuries and theyve been dealt a further blow with the news that Shaun Berrigan is missing also who has all ready been very influential with his flexibilty... Willie Manu is another big impact player missing adding to the likes of Kirk Yeaman... When Huddersfield get it together they really click and could be ready to start another fine winning run - they have quality all around the park and think theyl have too much quality against a depleted side...
15:00 St Helens v Wakefield
Wakefield+24.0 (Hcap With Tie) @ 1.9
I think the 24pt start for Wakefield will be suffient against a Saints side missing 5 first team forwards and are having to blood through a hoost of young players... They still boast an impressive starting 13 but over the course of 80 minutes they may start to become tired... Wakefield have there own injury crisis at the mo missing Drew, Martin, Demetriou, Blanch and Blaymire from the starting 13 but there squad looks sufficient enough to hold out...
15:00 Warrington v Catalan Dragons
Warrington-18.0 (Hcap With Tie) @ 1.8
Due to the fact that Catalans have the likes of Casey McGuire and Dane Carlaw missing with doubts over Jason Croker and Cyril Gossard ill have to stick with Warrington though they are still to convince that they will be the real deal this yr - they have a strong enough squad i feel to cover the handicap but which Warrington will turn up ?? |

| Arrghh. Only managed to find -6 for Harlequins so it was a tie in the end. Put them in a double with Hudd - 6 who did the business so it was abit gutting. |

I was having quite a good week... Huddersfield came in easily , Wakefield were solid with the start and Warrington just made it with Briers unable to land the goals But its a fine line in betting - Castleford looked to give me 4 out of 4 for the day then they capitulate in the last few minutes and as i backed them +6 and off scratch it eat the profits There is also those who took Harlequins with -6 so the bookies are having a laugh on this one !! |
