Well after losing a fair bit of money on rugby league in super league i deceided to give the challenge cup one last go,if i dont make a profit this weekend then im done with gambling on rugby.
Bradford v Toulouse
Toulouse used to be a force in France but over the last few years they really have gone down hill, they sold most of their best players and now struggle to beat even the poorest teams in the french league.
Bradford know they must improve on recent games and know they can turn heads with a big win here,48 points on the handicap seems alot but with the pace of the Bradford 2nd rowers this could if not should be a none contest.
Bradford -48 10/11 medium bet.
Salford v Wakefield
Salford are by far the best team in NL 1 and their place in next years super league is almost certainly guarenteed, they have a massive pack and the forwards are frightening.
Wakefield have alot of injuries and away from home they have not been good at all,if im been honest i cant pick a winner from this game so im taking the 8 points start with Salford.
Salford City Reds +8 10/11
Rochdale v Hull FC
Im going to go with Rochdale here for a few reasons,Hull have so many injuries they cant afford to play key players for the full 80 minutes so if there 30 points or so infront with 15-20 minutes remaining they will take off their best players and put on even more youngsters so i hope.
Rochdale are a pretty good side who are good in defence, they will be up for this one and if the wheather is bad and its windy then who knows, maybe this could be a shock result?
Rochdale +42 10/11
Does anyone have any thoughts on the St Helens v London Skolars game? i dont rate the Skolars one bit because quite frankly there a poor side but with all the problams St Helens have had this season can they cover the handicap of -64? if St Helens were playing any other team i would jump on the start but i really have no faith in London Skolars _________________ 2nd Overall Copa America Challenge 2007
Personally I stay away from all cup games, both in football and rugby. Especially in the early rounds when you can never tell with certain teams as to which squads they are going to put out.
