LEEDS V HULL
Cant see past a Leeds victory here and would take the -12 on the handicap.Hull are still experiencing problems but have improved of late, and will certainly be up for it.But i think Leeds are the best team in SuperLeague at the moment and should see off Hull without too much trouble.
SAINTS V HULLKR
Saints need to keep the pressure on Leeds at the top of the table and nothing but a home win will do.Tey are up against a resilient Hull KR side who have hit the top 6 and wont go down easy.Saints however will be too quick, and the retrn of Sculthorpe a massive boost.Go for Saints -14 on the handicap
CASTLEFORD V WAKEFIELD
A tough game on paper and i will stick my neck out and go for a home win with the +4 around for Cas i dont think there will be a great deal in the game, and a +4 start could make all the difference. Both sides are capable of getting a result on their day and a hard fought contest with Cas coming out on top is my prediction.
BRADFORD V CATALANS
I dont feel Bradford are the team of the last couple of years, teams wouldnt relish the thought of Bradford at home or away, and i cant put my finger on whats missing.Catalans are having a great season so far and keep on impressing with their style of rugby.I am tempted to take the +10 on Catalans although i expect Bradford to win the game.Reason being Bradford arent dominating sides this year and a fast, flowing Catalans side could surprise them
HARLEQUINS V WARRINGTON
Warrington need to get back on track after some un-convincing performances of late, and i expect them to do it against Harlequins. They have a lot to prove as there were big expectations at the start of the season, they need to string some wins together and Lay down the gauntlet.Go for Wires-4 to beat the Quins

Warrington and Castleford are the outright picks for me.
A smidge on Hull with the start. _________________ A good value loser is not useful - get that into your head. |

I have taken a plunge with +14 for Hull. Leeds are the best side by a long way but just got a feeling Hull are going to perform. -14 for Saints and have also trebled it with Catalans +10 v a poor Bradford.

| i have to say leeds at -14 on the handicap are a great bet against hull. i know that hull beat bradford last week but bradford are nothing compared to leeds who have a great defence and will be very hard to score against. |

If Hull defend well like they did against Bradford last week then it could be a close game, the only thing that worries me about Hull is the ammount of mistakes they make and there poor dicipline, think i might have a small bet on Hull +16 here and hope for the best.
I agree with everyone whos backed St Helens tonight for the exact same reasons, also had a dabble on Ade Gardner to score first at 10/1
Salford v Sheffield (National League 1)
Sorry this is not a super league game but as this is a rugby thread i didnt see the point in starting another one.
Salford are the best team in the league we all know that and really they will beat Sheffield tonight, but Sheffield are 3rd in the league and when you look at both teams for and against record there is not much in it at all so for that reason and the fact Sheffield are a very good side i think the Eagles +16 is a brilliant bet tonight because it will be a much closer game than that in my opinion.
Sheffield Eagles +16. _________________ 2nd Overall Copa America Challenge 2007 |

Goodcall on Gardner Matty he and Gidley were awesome tonight and ripped HullKR apart. They are looking good and after a hard fought win for Leeds starting to become favourites if injury free.A massive blow losing Cayless tonight, but should have depth. Not bad though good start to the week-end 2 from 2. _________________ M.C.F.C. Thanks Andy im chuffed to bits that Gardner won me £50 tonight especially as Salford and Hull let me down badly,When Hull were 18-0 up or whatever it was a was looking towards my next bet but as i said pre match i always feared their poor dicipline could let them down and it did, saying that Leeds were just stunning in the 2nd half.
Im not sure losing Cayless is that bad a blow to be honest wont Sculthorpe be able to fill in for him? Great game from the saints and they made mince meat of the handicap so overall a good night
Very dissapointed with Sheffield tonight i really thought they could have made it a much closer game against Salford than it was, they were poor in defence and made too many mistakes and you cant do that against the best team in NL1 _________________ 2nd Overall Copa America Challenge 2007 |

I fancied Leeds -16 and over 46.5 last night, but talked myself out of both. I checked the score at half time, and I was glad I'd passed on them. Then when I saw the result I was literally ->
I was surprised at St Helens' thumping win though, I thought it would be very close to the handicap, I was way out with that! _________________ The only dedicated snooker betting blog on OLBG! -> Click here

It was the style n which they did it betking, they literally hammered HullKR,all apart from a 10 min spell in the secod 40.
Matty youare right with Scully coming back,im just a bit dubious as to his full fitness,Cayless has been great for Saints so far alongside Graham, and yes if Scully stays injury free it wont be such a big loss.
Agree on Salford they are the best side in N1 and i went with them last night, couldnt see any other result _________________ M.C.F.C. BORN AND BRED |
