lEEDS V hUDDERSFIELD
Leeds havent really been performing of late and i feel this game could be their chance to sound out a warning to the rest of super league, that they are not fiished yet Sinfield is fit after an injury scare, and Toopi returns after being out since Feb.Huddersfield are coming here off a morale boosting win against the Bulls, and anyLeeds nerves will be punished.Leeds -16 on the handicap i can see them overcoming this and running out easy winners.
ST HELENS V CASTLEFORD
What can i say about the Saints that i already havent touched on in the last few weeks, they are on fire.Hammering the Quins away their latest feat and you cant see Cas getting anything from this, the handicap reflects this at around -28 for Saints and i expect them to overcome this and hammer Cas.Cas did however have a good win against Hull last week but Hull ai home is simply not Saints away.
WARRINGTON V BRADFORD
A n interesting game with both sides having a tendency to be unpredictable.Wires have the better form coming into this game and home advantage will for me play a big part.Bradford will be smarting after last weeks defeat to Huddersfield, and will want to prove a point but im going to go with the unpredictable Wires -6 on the handiap.A very good destruction job on Wakefield last week can be their platform for a good run in .
CATALANS V HARLEQUINS
They just keep going dont they the Dragons im sure there have been a lot of people who have been waiting for the bubble to burst ,not a chance they look a very good and well balanced side ,Quins have a few injury worries which you dont need going to France, and after last weeks hammering wont relish this trip -16 for the Dragons looks the bet here, you cant see them getting beat but will they do the handicap. My opinion yes just.
WAKEFIELD V HULL
I expect ths to be the tightest game of the weekend and the most difficult to predict.I keep saying Hull are due a win and i end up eating humble pie,Wakefield will want to bounce back after last weeks hammering at the hands of Warrington.Hull are given +4 on the handicap will it be enough? im going to say yes.I will hopefully not eat anymore humble pie,Hull need to put ona good show they have a derby game just around the corner, and will use this game to get prepared.
HULL KR V WIGAN
My bet of the week Wigan -6.Yes i know they can be unpredictable, and they were lucky last week but i think they are playing some good rugby at the moment, and for 60 mins against Leeds they were the better side Hull KR will not make it easy for Wigan and are capable of causing an upset. But for me too good an opportunity to miss go with Wigan -6. _________________ M.C.F.C.
