Well I never! Who would have thought a Monday night could have been so action packed and chocked full of fun? 25 superheroes sat down for the main event and what a tough game of poker it was. One man led from start to finish without ever looking like he was in trouble, that man now wears the OLBG Poker Hall of Fame jacket with pride.
Congrats to Ringobingo, not just for what can only be described as a performance of total dominance, but also one of quality, huge aggression and excellent timing, but also for earning the right to call himself an OLBG Poker Hall of Famer! It's been on the horizon for some time now and it gives me great pleasure to hand you your jacket, may you wear it everyday and never take it off; here's to the next 10 titles! Cracking performance Ringo
Three cheers for Ringo
Hip hip hooray! Hip hip hooray! Hip hip hooray!
Mrs Quasi played a blinder on her OLBG Poker debut, so much so that we are considering dropping Mr Q for his obviously more talented counterpart, only time will tell if she can repeat this massively impressive performance, if I was a gambling man I'd say it's an odds on certainty! Superb debut Mrs Q
Last but never ever least was Hollywood, he's certainly a poor replacement for Tunny, but he will have to do! Seriously though, nobody can knock the performances that this superhero has put in since joining us, he's racked up a load of cashes and last nights effort was simply more of the same, but I must say last nights performace ranks up there with the best as it was truly a gritty and gutsy display. Top notch pokering Hollywood
Many thanks to all who played in the main event and after party
The OLBG Poker leaderboard has been updated
Thursdays tournament is open for registration, support the cause! _________________ Don't worry, we've got Neil Warnock! |

I can only echo the praise being heaped on Ringo . He sat to my right and almost every hand i played at the final table he was raising before I entered the hand (no limping but at least he wasn't on my left ).
He then went on to dominate in the afters too
Congrats to Quasi too . When down to the heads up both Quasi and Ringo were sitting on 9 all-time wins. Quasi was unfortunate not to get a green jacket as the played swayed back and forth.
And lastly congrats to Hollywood , well played m8.

Unfortunately Jeepster it was the missus
and not me who ran ringo a good second, even worse I cannot claim any credit whatsoever as I had no input into her play and thanks to the show of support from JW she is now offering me tips on how to play. So now the fuse has been lit in the Quasi household to see who will emerge as the better player, over the comming year.
May the best Q win as long as its me.
well done ringo on obtaining the coveted green jacket well done
also congrats to Hollywood for a gallant third place |
