NEW RULE: In order to play the OLBG Monday Night Poker tournaments, you must first be a registered OLBG member, you are not allowed to join the tournaments until you are a registered member of OLBG. Anyone found to be listed as registered for the current tournament without having registered with OLBG first will be removed from the tournament immediately

Distribution of the password to non OLBG members is not allowed and will effect your ability to join future tournaments.

TO ALL 1ST TIME PLAYERS:

I must demand that you post your Ladbrokes Poker username on the latest thread in the OLBG Poker Nights Forum before buying into your first tournament.

I cannot stress this enough. Failure to comply with this reasonable request will effect your ability to join future tournaments.



Hello, to the OLBG community. Well done to Veedub, our new champion who took home $67.50, 2nd place went to Mattitude recieving $40.50 and 3rd place went to Tunny paying $27. (N.B. Tipster2007 was upgraded to 3rd place and Tunny downgraded to 4th place, Tipster now recieves the 6 leaderboard points that were initially awarded to Tunny. All payouts have stayed the same)

PRIZE PAYOUT:
This is determined by how many people enter:

1-30 people = 1st-3rd share money
31-50 people = 1st-5th
51-150 people = 1st-10th
151-200 people = 1st-20th



HOW DO I JOIN?:

To join in you must first have a real money Ladbrokes Poker account. It's very easy to set up:

Just click here - Ladbrokes Poker
Click the "Poker" button and then click on the "Download Now" button
Once Downloaded, double click the "Setup_Poker.exe" file and follow the on screen instructions
The rest is straight forward.
(Have credit/debit card details ready)


WHERE CAN I FIND THE TOURNAMENT?:

Once logged into Ladbrokes Poker, simply click the "PRIVATE" tab, then select "Multi Table Tournaments" and look for the table named "OLBG Monday Night Poker", you will need $5.50 to enter.

All I would ask:

Once you buy in, post a reply on this thread stating your Ladbrokes Poker name.
I will collect them up, and add them to the "OLBG List of Players" thread.

Thursdays turnout signified that four table action is moving perilously closer to our Monday / Thursday night soirees, not only does this mean bigger prize pools and longer main events, I will have to hire another Poker Den employee to help Vicky with the mess you lot make every week! Vickys Italian step-brother, Paulo, might be a popular choice what with all the lovely ladies that now frequent our exclusive club; I had to turn down John Davies' application, not because it was written on tracing paper in crayon, but because all it said was "WE ARE THE CHEEKY GIRLS, YOU ARE THE CHEEKY BOYS". I worry about you sometimes John.

Congrats to OLBG's official pimp, Veedub, for winning Thursday nights main event; this effort puts him on 9 OLBG Poker titles and I'm certain it won't be long before we are congratulating him into the OLBG Poker Hall of Fame, but for now it's my honour to hand you yet another title for your mantlepiece! Top notch play Vee

Mattitude found himself heads up with the pimp, Matt had played solid poker throughout the whole tournament and gave an excellent account of himself once the game went shorthanded; we welcome him onto the leaderboard with this effort, something I feel we will be doing a lot more of based on his last effort. Nicely done Matt

Tunny was his usual dangerous self, applying pressure on his opponents with just the right amount of control, when he's in the mood he can demolish the field like a human wrecking ball; he picks up 6 more leaderboard points which see him go clear at the top once again. It's looking even more likely this superhero will be playing a major role in deciding the 2008 title. Superb play Mr T

Well I managed to catch some of the action last Thursday and I saw some excellent poker.
Congrats to Veedud when things started to look like they were going wrong after he walked into a few big hands he held his composure and showed us all truly what a great player he his. Very well played matey a great dominant display.

It was also nice to see two of the "smawthorne massive" take down the remainder of the spoils. A great for matti and just the start of a string of OLBG Leader board points I'm sure. Well done also to T-Dog for an equally impressive display in . Also well done matey for picking up the gold in the After Show party with a great victory.

Well done to all who take part, and the after show chat hasn't lost its bite It was good to catch up with you all.

Thanks for reviving my lust for poker folks, and not just cos i came 2nd, but just for the spirit it was played! ! So refreshing to play it like it should be at a cost that wont get me divorced.....mmmm now that might be an idea !
