Not too bad a turnout considering folk are probably saving their pennies for Thursday after buying rather expensive diamond pendants for their better halves; I hear Zagreb has spared no expense and bought Mrs Zag the biggest pork pie in the whole of Kent! What a lucky woman she is.
Congrats to Hollywood for winning last nights main event and notching up his first OLBG Poker title for the year; this effort puts him in 4th spot and I for one can see him maintaining his position if playing like he has done so far in 2008. Superb effort Holly
Burfoot has'nt been with us long but already it's becoming clear he's got the blood of an OLBG Poker superhero flowing through his veins, he now finds himself on the OLBG Poker leaderboard and must be considered a threat based on what we've seen so far. What's even better is we have helped him get back his love of poker, something tells me this could be a match made in heaven! Nicely done Burfoot
Bonak Shed once again cashed in the main event, we may aswell start calling him Mr Cash in the main event! He now sits on equal points behind Gooner, our current leader, and BetWoody are slashing his price on a daily basis as an avalanche of antepost money comes in for this superhero. Top notch effort Mr B
Many thanks to all who took part in the main event and after party
The OLBG Poker leaderboard has been updated
Thursdays tournament is open for registration, support the cause! _________________ Don't worry, we've got Neil Warnock! |

Well played Holly and everyone else.
Unfortunately my suggestion of a quiet night in with a four pack of Brown Ale, some Brains Faggots and my collection of "Big Daddy V Giant Haystacks" highlight videos was deemed not romantic enough by the present Mrs Wish (Why I ask ???) and thus I won't be on the tables tonight.
Good Luck to you all
